Got my rental of RB6V2 and am all ready to play - tonight. I've got some stuff to do before I get to play...

Apparently the date has been set for the Chi-lan, so I'll need to consider that for this year. Looking at the pics from last year I was wondering if & why all the monitors were all like 13" to 15" panels. Just seems strange for a group of older gamers to be using about the smallest possible sized panels. Unless Doodi can't seem to rent some 19" & 22", and maybe a couple 50"s for some one-on-one playoffs. 

What's happening? Not a whole lot. I'm just practicing my patience while waiting for Gamefly to ship RB6V2 or Frontlines:Fuel of War. For some reason that isn't too clear, to me, Gamefly is waiting until Thursday to release the game for rentals. Only thing I can figure is this may be some sort of BS agreement with the publisher to make sure gamers that are buying the game have first crack at it. Seem pretty silly to me if that is the case, but when do businesses ever give a damn about consumers after they get your money. Meh...

The world today lost one of the greatest of science fiction writers, Arthur C Clarke.

I think I will mark his passing with another read of the Rama & 20xx/3001 series and any other stories and novels I may find in my library.

I would encourage all, particularly those that have not read them, to find the time and read some of the greatest science fiction novels ever written.

I hit my first weight loss goal today!  I am under 200lbs! Over 26lbs lost between 9-Feb and today. Just 7lbs since 5-Mar. Hmm, 7lbs loss in one week. OoooKay.

I got tired of trying to use the el-cheapo cycle computer that I bought with my bike, so I went out and bought a Polar cs250cad. Not cheap, but it has tons of features that will come in handy to gauge my cycling progress. Well, once I get it setup correctly.

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to NotStyro throwing down with the games. We added 325 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 15 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!

The earlier gaming MSM reviews were correct - Turning Point has so many glitches and bugs I don't know where to begin. Even in the first 'act' I was hit by a problem that blocked my character from picking up the weapons. No amount of pressing and holding 'X' would work. The only thing was to restart from the last checkpoint and hope.
