Frontlines...

I finished the Frontlines:Fuel of War SP campaign. I recommend playing using the Hardcore setting as the lesser settings are really for grannies and timmies.

The game storyline is based on a worldwide shortage of oil after the middleast and assorted smaller fields dry-up. Gas prices skyrocket, then rationing, then none. Cities go dark after there is no oil to burn or feed/lube machines to support power generation. Choas rules the civilian population.

Oh, by the way...

Life is what happens when blogs aren't being posted.

Gamefly sent me Frontline:Fuel of War, but I've yet to play it. Life, work, diet and stupid issues keep occuring to block my game time. Maybe I'll have time today or tomorrow. But absolutely next week.

Losing streak...

I can only imagine that how I feel about losing is inversely proportional to how Hillary Clinton feels about losing, but our commonality it that we both excel at it. I'm just glad I'm losing weight and not honor, dignity, money and political aspirations. But more on weight loss later...

On the gaming front, I've gotten another achievement on Vega 2 and since it is now my weekend, maybe I'll be able to finish the story/campaign.

Bump...

From the blog...

I told NotStyro 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 5,130. That is a boost of 150 points over last time! That puts us above 5,000 points! He played Rainbow Six® Vegas 2 finishing an amazing 6 achievements, and NotStyro won't admit this, but I had to force him to stop.

RB6V2, FTW!

Oh, man, ohman, ohman, ohman... What a blast.

I don't think I've had this much fun since, um, the COD4 campaign. I was up until around 1:30am playing and loving it. The game play, the sprinting, the environment, listening to the enemy banter about 'Diplomatic Ultimatum' (or whatever), etc. But don't take that as the game is glitch and bug-free, because it isn't, it just isn't anywhere near as glitchy and bug-ridden as Turning Point.

'sup...?

Got my rental of RB6V2 and am all ready to play - tonight. I've got some stuff to do before I get to play...

Apparently the date has been set for the Chi-lan, so I'll need to consider that for this year. Looking at the pics from last year I was wondering if & why all the monitors were all like 13" to 15" panels. Just seems strange for a group of older gamers to be using about the smallest possible sized panels. Unless Doodi can't seem to rent some 19" & 22", and maybe a couple 50"s for some one-on-one playoffs.
