Not my best work: Guardian called me on it: I rushed this one through. I totally appreciate his input!  Anyway: here's the linky-poo... and the GF blog:

But I WANT it...

Stream of consciousness blog. well not really: just a bunch of stuff

okay: I bought a book and figured out the fitness numbers. basal metabolic rate is like what we need if we are lying in bed and literally doing nothing... so: 1500 cals. Then you multiply that by a activity level "fudge factor) mine is 0.3. so... multiply 1500 x .3 to get your activity level number. then you add these two numbers and multiply by .10 to get your calories for digestion. then add everything together. For me the magic number is 2145 (seems high) to drop that by 1lb a week: I have to cut that by 500: either through diet or exercise: so about 1600 cals total.

sometimes ingnorance is bliss... (question for the peanut gallery)

Okay: I went home form, work today sick. As such I left lunch WAAAay too late and had to pick something up on the way home. I was lightheaded the whole deal. What is on the way? Mickey D's.

Got home and just now I looked up on the calorie calculator. Okay: Crispy chicken sandwich and lg fries: Diet Coke.  How many calories?  Go on... guess...

Over 1100  it would be 1320 if it was a regular coke.

holy crap.

Fundraiser result

Well, I don't have the official tally: but I am sure we raked in a good deal. There was a silent auction (my PSP bundle went for $140), but some of the larger ticket items went for huge amounts. A 2 first class tickets from Ottawa to Quebec City on Via rail went for over $500 and some of the things went for over thier acutal value. Danny (the manager of Liam Maguires) was the ower of the pub Dave and I used to go to. He donated the food, and his band sang. That must be the best job...

Mommy stupidity: And if you are form Ottawa: Please read!

I HATE it when I screw up. So... Erica and I were at Kiddie Kobbler: she needs new shoes (duh!) she was there, with a couple of toys and happy. I went across the stor e (it's REALLY small) to look at the shoes. She looked up: no mommy started to freak out.

I shoulda brought her over. I felt SO bad.  It's stuff like that that makes you feel like  a rookie (don't leave your child in a store duh!)  I mean there are workers all over... the store is the size of my basement, she wans't in danger.... but I felt stupid.

Myers Briggs Test

So, my job has been ... a challenge since I got back from Mat Leave. And not because it's a difficult job, on the contrary. It's tough cause it's so easy. It's almost like a demotion: I am back doing the type of work I did when I was first hired. Very detailed... alone in my cubicle, very little creative thought or collaboration.

I did my Myers Briggs Assement: It's a very well known personality profile. I am an ENFP: The Kiersey Temperment sorter would say I am an Idealist: (that's the NF in me) and specifically I am called a "Champion".  Here's what it says about me:
