So I asked my wife what she wanted to do for Mother's Day, dinner out with the fam or what. She said she wanted to go see the new Iron Man movie......Um ok. Long time Iron Man fan here so she didn't have to twist my arm. I thought the movie rocked, Downey got the part of Stark down pat in my opinion. I'd give it 4 stars out of 5.

Well I am now offically from Louisiana now. The rest of the fam will move over after this school year is over. I started my new position as a Port Captain, so no more riding the boats! It is taking me some time to get used to being around so many land lubbers though! I still have alot to move over to the new house, haven't got LIVE hooked up yet but will soon...hopefully. So you guys know I'm selling my house(sold) and getting ready to move and all that. Well the other day I was putting another coat on the kitchen wall and had to get above the sink. So I go and get the step ladder and proceed up the ladder when WHACK!!! I stick me head straight up into the ceiling fan. On high no less! Man that hurts like hell. I guess I had so much on my mind that I didn't notice to spinning blades until I was reminded that they were there. Guess I get the Homer award.

It's been awhile since my last blog, I've been busier than a one legged cat burying crap. We are in the process of packing our house and finding a new one in Louisiana. After much thought and family discussions, I have decided to give up working on the boat and become a land lubber like the rest of yee. The company I work for wants me to come in shore side as a Port Captain. Instead of being the Captain for one vessel, I will now be manager over 12. Now I'll be able to make my kids birthdays,Christmas and all the other holidays I've missed for the past 19 yrs.

It's been awhile since my last blog, I've been busier than a one legged cat burying crap. We are in the process of packing our house and finding a new one in Louisiana. For my wife's birthday I got her an Iphone, she isn't a gadget geek or a tech hound like me but I thought it would be a nice gift. She loved it of course but is having trouble with a few features. I got her a manual for it that cleared up alot of headaches. I kept it one day to work on some of those features while she was at work and now I'm hooked! It's amazing what we can do with technology now, putting a full fledged browser in a phone and not to mention an Ipod too. So I snag it every chance I get and add new stuff to it (apps).
