The Coffin

Argh, the RRoD hit me with bittersweetness. My 360 has been slowly fading over the last few months, and now it has gone to the "doctor" to get better. The coffin has been delivered to UPS, we'll see what brown can do for me. The worst part, I am already missing playing with you's guys.

1984

I recently read 1984 by George Orwell. I must say a very interesting and yet disturbing book. It has been like a large meal, taking a little time to digest. I won't give away any details in case you want to read it.

I would recommend it to any interested in politics or social studies.

Shout Out

Have to give a shout out to my pastor.

Since the surgery, I'm not allowed to drive. Something about heavy narcotics and machinery operation. So my pastor hooks me up with a ride to a local small town Walmart, we get there and there's only about 15 of us putzs waiting for a certain game to remain nameless (MTK).

Big props Craig, thanks for the ride.

Modern Medicine

Sometimes, I never realize how great it is that we live in a modern society. 10 years ago a gall bladder surgery would require a couple days recovery in a hospital. Now, they send you home for recovery. Amazing. Anyway, I'm just posting to let everyone know the Timmy season is about to open again.

Deadlines

Sometimes, it's amazing the amount of focus that an absolute deadline can bring to work and life in general. As the date for surgery approaches, every action and thought seems to be clear and concise. All pointed to the singular goal of accomplishing what must be done before the absolute deadline. On one hand it's pretty cool how much work is getting done, but on the other it seems to be very tiring, at least so far.
