I was watching The Weather Channel the other morning and the meteorologist was showing a graphic of a storm in the Atlantic that was 4000 miles long from north to south. Yes, 4000 miles. I'm not a diligent observer of weather patterns but a 4000 mile storm seemed kind of unusual to me. But who knows, maybe this kind of crap happens all the time. Maybe I got a little spooked by An Inconvenient Truth...Damn you Gore!

In any case, that hugegantic storm got me thinking about safety in the event that a power line was ever taken down by any kind of storm.

Does anyone own a set of 5.1 headphones with a mic for XBOX 360? I think when the tax return comes in I may be in the market. I just read about the Turtle Beach X2 and the Tritton AX. The Seinheisser stuff is probably as remarkable as every fan-boy makes them out to be but I haven't seen any with a mic.

I'm thinking I may just want to go wired. I don't play too far from my TV and I'm willing to spend a maximum of $150 (Ok, $175 if I read a good argument for a certain set.). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There is a prize to be won which is making me so excited. I think I may have a shot at this. I practiced on Gridlock today and I think I found a perfect choke point. Wish me luck.

None of us had, so he went on to explain to us that sewage treatment plants are the most technologically advanced part of any municipality. How can you not be fascinated by an industry that can turn poop-water into water that is more pure than the stuff you get out of your tap? Well, he went on to explain his fascination with the engineered microbial creatures that feast on all the "crap" that flows into a sewage plant.
