I haven't played a hockey game since Blades of Steel on the NES (or was it Genesis?) BUUUUUT, if I can play as the Whale in NHL 11 I'm gonna get it. My buddies rave about how good 10 was and I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous and feeling left out. It's just that I haven't played a hockey game, well actually, any sport game in well just about a decade. Add the fact that I barely follow hockey and I'm possibly setting myself up for a disaster. I think it would be fun to get involved in a friendly league though.

Finally. Finally. Finally! I wrote a previous blog about how I wanted to complete every achievement in a game. I have never done it before and I was close to doing it in a few games.Why this is one of my goals? I'll never know.  There are a billion other things I should be doing with my time. Well anyway, tonight I popped my cherry with Fallout 3. I've been spending an inordinate amount of time in the Capital Wasteland, and now I can finally put this beast to bed....until late June at least which is when the next DLC comes out.

This stupid game owns me.

Can anyone make an argument for Assassin's Creed? Good or bad, I want to hear what people have to say. All of the reviews have had me on the fence for this one for quite a while. Is it all eye-candy? Are the lukewarm reviews by journalists right on the money? Is there anything redeeming about the gameplay? I keep seeing all the hype about the sequel and quite honestly, it has made me curious about the original.

Karma, I know she was good to me...I'm sorry, she was great to me. I was young, curious, impatient and weak. We were in a rough area at that point and because of my mentioned faults I didn't want to weather the storm. Hindsight being so clear, I can see now that it was a test for us. A test that I failed miserably because of my fledgling, naive heart.

I have seriously got to stick to just playing GoW2 MP with clan members. Every time I go public I get my ass handed to me. Not to mention the lag-switching is becoming way too rampant.
