I had a pretty fun weekend. Went to opening night of the horse track on Friday. I didn’t win any money, but I still had a blast. A young guy next to us won on the .10 superfecta. He bet a dime and ended up with $1500. It was pretty cool. I was betting on the trifecta and superfecta most of the night. One time I wanted to bet on a horse to win-place-show, but the teller was new and she screwed it up. I told her to not worry about it and just went with my usual bet. Of course, the horse I picked came in second. Figures. They’re adding on to the track and installing slot machines. I was look

I got good news from the doc today. There is nothing wrong with my heart. In fact, they said my heart is perfect. The flutters that I have aren’t any different then the flutters everybody else gets. They said the only thing that’s different is for some reason I’m aware of them. I asked them why that is and they said they didn’t have an explanation for it.

I was watching the news and some jockey named Shoemaker won his 8000th race. How is that even possible? If he won a race everyday it would take him over 21 years to achieve that!

I got the heart monitor removed today, but I won’t know anything for another three or four days. It seems like they’d be a little faster with stuff when it comes to the heart, but what do I know. I’m curious to see what my heart rate is when I’m playing Halo. I’ll have to make it a point to ask about the hours between 7pm and 9:30pm.

I went to the doctor yesterday about the fluttering in my chest. In a five-hour period, I felt the flutter 76 times. Fortunately, it happened while the doctor was listening to my heart so he knows I’m not crazy. My blood pressure was good (120/72) and I don’t have any pains or dizziness. They did an EKG, but I didn’t feel my heart flutter at all and the results were normal. He mentioned that my pulse was a bit low (52bpm), but as long as I didn’t feel like I was going to pass out that I shouldn’t worry about it. I went back to today for a Holter exam. What they do is put the sticky pads o
