So my little girl was finally able to convince my wife to get her a dog.  We ended up adopting a Jack Russel Terrier mix from the local animal shelter.  'Biscuit' is 2 years old and smart as a whip.  A very good companion for my daughter.  At first, I was a little worried as most kids enjoy pets initially but once the responsibility starts weighing them down, they lose interest in the animal.  Not Christina though...she plays with her new friend, feeds it, takes it for walks and most importantly, cleans up after it.  I'm very proud of my little girl.

Next week I will be taking the family on a Carribean cruise (short one mind you, only 4 days).  I'm really looking forward to it since it has been about 12 yrs since I've taken a REAL vacation.  This is my first cruise ever so I'm really excited!  Really need a break this year after all the crap that has been going on.

Like many people, I love to play with others online but I just don't have the time to 'rank' very quickly in many of today's more popular games.  Consequently, I often enter the battlefield with a major disadvantage...I don't have access to the better weapons or skills that many others have already unlocked.   Now, don't get me wrong, getting to that 'next' level is what keeps many players coming back over and over (keeping it fresh) but for some of us, that 'next' level is long in coming and results in many, many frustrating gaming sessions.

So...I finally finished my first run through Infamous.  What a great game!  Definitely one of the best that I have played in recent memory.

Now I'm off for my second playthrough...this time as evil.

Today is my wife's birthday so I thought I would take some time to mention how much she means to me.

I met my wife in the fall of 1989 and we soon became very good friends. Starting in the summer of 1990, we began dating and never looked back. God was smilling on me September 10th, 1994 when the prettiest girl I ever saw allowed me to put a ring on her finger.
