I believe that if you do a hobby, you have to do it right. There's no sense in doing gaming and then restrict yourself to one system. My pet-system is still the 360 though, even if I sold off most of the games I bought for it over the years.

Digital Homicide, a developer who wears an oversized mantle of the 'indie-dev' variety (to put it mildly), once again finds himself as the focus of Jim Sterling's critique, what in itself has become clickbaiting made art. The entire tone of the video and the clear intent of it is questionable.

Last night one of the hard drives that housed our database had a Catastrophic failure.  By complete luck I was able to recover from an weekly back-up that I had earlier this week.  I was until about 5am trying to get everything back to normal again.  I'm still not quite sure how far or bad the corruptions spread. For now I know that it knocked out the database completely as well as our email systems.

Today I bring you a gaming-channel, worked by Noah Caldwell-Gervais, that looks at games and gaming in a more cerebral manner. Noah creates games-videos that are almost mini-docus, puting games within the same franchise oftenly next to eachother. You'll need some free time when you sit down with one of his vids, in some cases you'll need three hours of spare time.

Things have been generally smooth here on the new site.  I've just updated a few more things with the side bar.  Added side bar auto follow as you scroll, added in auto comment posting, changes some text around, put in a new sidebar block and style for blogs, and added an indicator for when a new blog is posted.  

And yes, you read that correct...24 hours.  We shall find out come August 1-2.  We are currently putting together a team (or 2) for the assault on the world reknown Spa Francorchamps circuit.  I'll likely be running w/ co-drivers F1Fan07 & oldslowfred (along w/ a couple more drivers not finalized at this time) in the GBR1 Ford GT in the GT3 class.  We will be trying to back up our 4th place finish in the 12hrs of Sebring and a 3rd at the Sahlen's 6 Hours of the Glen (Watkins Glen).

If nothing else it's going to be interesting.

This is probably a high-point in gringe-worthy game-reporting. The girl has this terrible intonation that makes me want to slap her around the block a few times. What is with that slurring the end of every sentence, where's she's sounding like everything that she says is a question? It's of such an overdone level that I stopped listening to what she was saying and was just hearing a weird kind of brown noise that's about to become self-aware.

Yes, Colonial Marines wasn't a good game at all. But it also takes two parties to start a fight and one of those parties is the most insessant, petulant, crutch-bearing, vindicative, bile-spewing cavedweller known to mankind. And no, I'm not talking about the evil gamesindustry 'that's only after our money'.

Things have changed...  The site is looking good!  Unfortunately, I'm unable to access the site from work, so my participation in it has dwindled down to...  almost nothing.  :(
