It's that time of the year again.  We all know it, I know we all love it.  It's GIRL SCOUT COOKIE TIME!!!! 

I don't necessarily agree with a lot of what our new president believes or stands for, but one thing we do share is a love for Thin Mints.

No, not the vacation, although that is drawing to a close with this last day before getting back to work - more on that tomorrow, so stay tuned.

It's hard to believe it, but in a short 4 days from now we'll be crusing at 30,000 feet on our way to Orlando. This will be the first "real" family vacation we have gone on in 14 years. Granted, we've done weeks down in Ocean City and up at my in-laws place in the lakes region of New Hampshire, but nothing that comes close to a destination vacation like Disney. My kids are old enough now (13, 11, and 8 ) where I have a funny feeling mom and I will be the limiting factors on how much we see any given day, but we'll try to keep pace.

Remakes of old movies or TV shows always make me nervous.  Doubly so when the original was what many would consider a classic.  We have seen it happen time and time again when a directors desire to relive their childhood favorites falls apart as they mix in the latest and greatest in special effects, the wrong cast, or just make changes all together with the source material.  However, every now and then, we're treated to a situation when it's done right.  Thankfully, the resurrection of Maxwell Smart onto the big screen was done with reverence and admiration to the 60s television classic, m
