After suffering with a cold I couldn't shake - turns out I had an upper respiratory infection. Thank goodness for my tonsils - the Doctor suspects they prevented the infection from spreading to my chest and lungs - but my sinus and throat suck. I am now on antibiotics and looking forward to finally getting this behind me.

I thought that was the bad news....oh no....life isn't like that.

In the middle of a New Vegas quest my beloved 360 died.

Yep.

I done went out as fast as my high-heeled footsies could spike the pavement and snatched me up a copy of Fallout New Vegas.

And...dammit...I can't get into that city...YET!!! Standing at the water tower hill above Good Springs at night I got to stare in awe at the distant lights of New Vegas...um....at least I think that was New Vegas...I was suddenly attacked by huge bloatflies...so...I ran away...ooops...I meant I went looking for bug spray. Actually,  I encountered my second non-mutant technical bug.

There is a nasty cold bug going around. I know - got it, turned into a snotty mess of misery, got rid of it, got it again, finally demolished it! The only reason I point this out is because it interupted my Halo Reach experience. That got me mean and determined.

I have returned from a one week vacation in the North. Not the north-North like in Polar Bears, Subarctic flowers, Inuit seal hunters and the Northwest Passage north. More like the near north. We went camping in Neys Provincial Park halfway between Marathon and Thunder Bay. Its beautiful country off Highway 17 on Lake Superior. This was our third trip up. I don't know that I have the courage for the winter up there but I do love the other seasons. Lots of Black Bears this year.
