Huzzah! It came in the mail yesterday. And after driving Balek nuts by playing Lost Planet instead of Bioshock...I decided to throw it in and begin the hunt for the big daddies.

I'm going the easier route 1st time through and harvesting the little sisters...but I made a 2nd save right where you make the choice with the 1st sister so I can skip the first 30 minutes of the game at least when I start my 2nd go through.

Keep in mind when I say this that I'm not a fan of kids. For those with kids please don't take offense. If you're kids are good thats awesome. I'm just not a very patient person so its really hard for me to deal with kids.

Anyway onto topic. Killing children in movies.

I remember back in the day this was a BIG deal and huge taboo. Kids always survived....they might have gone through hell...but the kid always made it.
And any movie that did differently was WAY dark.

To he who is most awesome. Words cannot contain or even hope to describe the sheer awesomeness that is Balek. The man, the myth, the legend.

When I was in a time of crisis...not being able to get a Bioshock Limited Edition...Balek came through. Because well let's face it. He fuckin rules. He probably just had an extra one laying around and said "ya know what....Gatsu is not that big of a douche...so hell I'll sell it to him." And so Gatsu was blessed.

And all was right in the land....and the women and children were safe. Gatsu will be slaying Big Daddy's soon.

And I missed my opportunity to preorder a copy of the Limited Edition. DOH! The one with the Big Daddy and Soundtrack. DOH DOH DOH!  Usually I'm pretty quick about Special Editions....especially with the Big Daddy figure and Soundtrack included...thats sweet for an extra $10.00. But I called my local EB and they said they had no spots left...so I checked the website....they STOPPED taking reserves for that version. DOH DOH DOH DOH DOH!!

There was a autographed one going for like $15.00 or so.

But thats pretty fuckin cool. It's not every day a designer sees his design on ebay as a collectible.
