And it turns out that I haven't been completely abandoned by all  my friends. One of them just went on hiatus due to some personal problems that came up.
Just turned out he was the one I had been trying to call all last week and hadn't heard back from him.. lol.

lifes funny that way.

I was just glad that he finally got ahold of me.

Something small...but it made me feel good when he said it. I said to him "dont worry about it man...just glad ya got back to me..was worried I was on the out." He replied...

I noticed something yesterday...well actually more or less something clicked and I came to a realization. I'm pushing people I know away. Not anyone on the site, but people I know personally. There are friends I've got (very few) that I've been ignoring and just not returning calls to...or avoiding their work place so I don't have to see them. That kind of thing.

Why though? with as few friends as I have already...why would I push who i do have away.

An old friend called me saturday.
Friend: "hey man...hows it goin? watcha up to tonight?"

I noticed something yesterday...well actually more or less something clicked and I came to a realization. I'm pushing people I know away. Not anyone on the site, but people I know personally. There are friends I've got (very few) that I've been ignoring and just not returning calls to...or avoiding their work place so I don't have to see them. That kind of thing.

Why though? with as few friends as I have already...why would I push who i do have away.

And I'm dissapointed. Not by the gameplay or the story...or the graphics. Those are all fine. I'm dissapointed by the length. 6 hours on Normal. I flew through the friggin game pretty much. Neither of the other Halo games were that short.

I enjoyed that I finished the story and I know what happened and all that. But 6 hours? Come on....

Being simplistic is usually my thing....but I want some....zazz when I hand someone my card.

The idea is to have the card be held either way and the information isn't lost.

Monday came and went...but Tuesday....oh what a bitch....decides to be a slow-ass day filled with mind-numbing monotony.

No halo 3 yet. waiting on the UPS guy to deliver it. Of course the fucking store didn't ship it till yesterday...even though I preordered it on the 18th of last month. But yet Julia's copy was shipped on the 20th last week...and I ordered hers on the 16th of this month.

wtf.

Ever since November 12th of last year....Gears of War has been my shooter of choice. In the beginning their were a few issues that needed to be fixed. And some of them were.
Then things that didn't need to be touched were getting screwed up. The roadie run for one. Before all the "fixes", the roadie run was fine. The system worked. But all these timmies started bitching on the Epic forums about how much it sucked....
