Hey Y'all

Thought I'd slip in and say hey to y'all.  Ahh, can't say y'all any more.  I guess it's more like youse guys, or something.  Dunno.  We are in New York and will be in the City this afternoon with the lovely Bill (Landmark) and his wife Victoria.   This morning is a laid back wandering thru small towns and shops waiting for the lovely Bill to get his butt out of bed!  Um, j/k Bill.  I managed to get suburned in DC, so I've got a good start for the cruise.  I met Brian (rumbagod) and his wife Melora in Richmond.  They are soooooo cute!  Luv 'em to death!  I think they may be the ones that gav

Tomorrow

All set and ready to roll in the morning.  Hubby is actually letting me take my laptop.  Well, letting isn't the right word.  He is tolerating the fact that I am taking it!!  That's ok.  Heard from my friend.  That's a good thing.  Got my hair done.  Another good thing.  Now, trying to get the rest of the packing done is another problem.  I just don't know what to take.  We have never cruised this far north, so I don't know if it will be hot or what.  Ahhh, I am psyched!

No Title.....

I am leaving on my road trip day after tomorrow.  Yay!  But, I was hoping to get in contact with a friend before I left, and she seems to be MIA.  Ahh, busy Labor Day weekend.  Oh man, I hafta pack!  Tomorrow will be very busy.....  Short blog, i am still restless, ready to run..woohoo!

No Title.....

Restless me

It is a looooong day today.  Went to a birthday party yesterday.  No big deal.....  And today I have been restless, starting out on WoW early this morning, got tired of that, sent some emails..  That was good, I got one from my friend that has recently moved away.  Good to hear from her.  Spent some hubby time.  Tried some BioShock, but kept getting interrupted.  Back to Wow....  Very restless today.  Looking forward to my trip.  We will be leaving Wednesday and driving, driving.  I am the only one that drives my car.  So, I will be doing all of it.  Oh, I'm even too restless to bloggggggg.

Restless me

It is a looooong day today.  Went to a birthday party yesterday.  No big deal.....  And today I have been restless, starting out on WoW early this morning, got tired of that, sent some emails..  That was good, I got one from my friend that has recently moved away.  Good to hear from her.  Spent some hubby time.  Tried some BioShock, but kept getting interrupted.  Back to Wow....  Very restless today.  Looking forward to my trip.  We will be leaving Wednesday and driving, driving.  I am the only one that drives my car.  So, I will be doing all of it.  Oh, I'm even too restless to bloggggggg.

The Salad Bar

We raise deer....  No, not intentionally.  But our property is known as "the deer salad bar".  Over the years we have used stinky sprays, soap, um, urine, and finally fences that, unfortunately, are not tall enough.  We have read up on what to do, what to plant, etc.  I can tell you that there is not one vegetable that deer don't like!  Flowers, on the other hand, they stay away from some.  And those are the only kind I have in my yard.  Not all that safe if they are hungry enough, but I try.  This year has been particularly bad cuz we are having a drought.  D'oh, what's unusual about that?  B

Soon, road trip

Just a week from today I will go on my road trip....  It will be fun to meet some of my "friends I've never met", although, I have already met one of them at the East Coast Lan.  Can't wait to do New York with him and his wife!  I've never been there, so it will be new for me.  And, I finally get a lunch date with the guy that promised me lunch a looooooong time ago.  I can't help but remind him of it, very, very often.  Sooooo, I have to drive to Richmond, just for lunch!  LOL  Well, it is right on the way.....  After all that, a 5 day cruise out to Bermuda and back.  Cruising out of New J
