Some of you that read my blog know that I have been struggling with some problems/situations that are making life quite difficult for me.  Today is a day I have given a lot of thought to.  I have an agreement with a friend, can't say what it is, but I promised.......  The agreement/contract is for 30 days.  Guess what!  Today is the halfway mark!  So far I have been able to hold up my side, and will continue to do so for another 15 days.   I have been keeping busy and trying to behave myself.  Hard, I know.  I'm planning that trip and have actually made reservations.  That's a step in the r

Yesterday I went to Cary and scooped up my friend Dave and brought him home to the chaos that is my house. It was quiet at first, but soon the kids and daughter arrived. It was sooooo nice to have a crowd around the table for supper, all chattering up a storm and eating everything in sight. I come from a big family and I miss that kind of interaction, sometimes. It is usually just me and hubby......and sometimes the kids.

Ahhhh, everyone who is anyone is at the Lan this weekend.  Well, that's not really true, cuz I am not there!!!!!!!  I have tried to watch the webcam and it is either "offline" or showing the same pic of someone playing Wii.  Funny that I knew that.  It looked like he was bowling with air....  I have seen the game, not played it.  Good exercise, great for kids......

Hubby asked me today if I was getting anorexic (again).  We went out to lunch and I wasn't hungry, just went to make him happy.  I ended up picking at my food and bringing almost all of it home with me.  Do I look like I'm losing weight?  Oh yeh, you guys can't see me.  LOL  Well, I've got a lot going on, as some of you know.  I was a bit anorexic when I was very young, and had a "relapse" about 10 or 12 years ago.  They say it is a control issue.  When my life spins out of control, I guess I lose my appetite.  Well, I'm working on that.  The biopsy was negative, so that is not an issue any

I reread my blog from yesterday and started thinking, hey, there is more!  I have done the research on some of the stuff.  But.......  Anyways, hubby has developed "essential tremor", a benign, unpreventable condition that causes him to "shake" during certain activities.  It has affected his whole upper body, I think, including his voice.  This frustrates him a lot, cuz things he used to be able to do are now more difficult.  He has a terrible time writing or typing.  And, strangely, sometimes it is there, and sometimes it is not.  He has lost 15 lbs in the last few months, without trying. 

I have always been a very optimistic person.  I see the cup as half full, as opposed to half empty.  That's a good thing.  But, lately, I have started to wonder.  I am married to a man that is many years older than I.  We have been thru a lot together.  He has been my best friend.  But, he has become very strange over the last few years.  Yes, he is forgetful.  So what?  If he goes to the store for bread and brings home milk, is it a big deal?  How about if he forgets a doctor's appointment?  Calling his grandsons by his son's names?  Misplacing things.  Driving down the road and suddenly t
