Ok, enough with the jokes, already.  This is serious!  Yes, I am a nurse, an oncology nurse.  That means I administer chemotherapy to people with cancer.  Cancer's of all types.  The most predominant being the ones that are caused by lifestyle choices.  The one that stands out the most,  lung cancer.  It's a killer.  Some lung cancers are directly related to smoking.  One in particular is caused by asbestos exposure in addition to smoking.  The two are deadly!  Unfortunately, one can also get lung cancer and never have smoked a day in their life!  Too bad.  One should be rewarded for abstai

You Might Be A Nurse If.....

You avoid unhealthy looking people in the mall for fear that they'll drop near you and you'll have to do CPR on your day off.

It doesn't bother you to eat a candy bar with one hand while performing digital stimulation on your patient with the other hand.

You've had a patient with a nose ring, a brow ring and twelve earrings say, "I'm afraid of shots."

You've ever bet on someone's acohol level.

You plan your next meal while performing gastric lavage.

I like to travel.  I like it a lot.  And when I am out and about, I take a lot of pictures.  Everyone knows I luv pics!  Over the years, I have been to some interesting places, as have many of my friends.  This is our collection of unusual names and the pics to prove it.

An older lady was some what lonely and decided she needed a pet to keep her company.. So, off to the pet shop she went. She searched and searched. None of the pets seemed to catch her interest, except this ugly frog. As she walked by the jar he was in, she looked and he winked at her.
