Today was one of the worst days I have ever worked in my clinic!  I am so tired, I could just go to bed.  Got to work at 7:30, as usual.  Checked out the patient load.  Oh, this is good!  Only 30 patients to see today.....  Seeing as there were 6 of us, that seemed reasonable.  Soooo, the first thing that happened was, the computer system went down.  OMG!  That meant that everything had to be done by hand.  Without going into any detail at all, that meant that anything we did that used any electronic device was unavailable.  So, we generated a lot of paper, hand delivered things to other de

Oh, that is a deceiving title.  I don't even have an office.  But as I read these forums and blogs, I am pretty much aware that those that do, spend time behind that closed door doing things other than work.  Not that I care!  I wish I had an office so I could be just like them!  So, this video is dedicated to all of you cubicle dwellers!

When I'm not playing MTGO, I like to play Guild Wars.  I'm not that great at it, but i don't care.  I just like to play.  A fellow guildie sent me this video.  My hubby just watched it with a certain amount of interest.  I told him this is what I am really doing when he thinks I am playing games on the computer.  I'm not sure he believed me.  Either that, or he thinks I am nuts.

I am home now for a few days. I don't work full time cuz I keep my grandson a couple days a week. But, woohoo, it's Friday! Work was really rough the last couple days, and I'm glad to be home. Tonight is Friday Night Magic, which is a hoot. Well, it sorta depends on who shows up, but my friend Andrew continues to crack me up every Friday. We use ventrilo so we can talk instead of type while we play. Fun! He is Australian. Even more fun! He says he doesn't have an accent, that I do. LOL. I guess it's all in how you look at it.

Enough time has elapsed since the recent Friday the 13th that I can safely talk about it. I am not superstitious, well not much. But, there are certain things that nurses, in particular, pay very close attention to. Full moon is one. I can't even tell you the many crazy, bad, or otherwise weird things that have happened during a full moon. Ask any ER nurse. They will tell you.
