PSA results, ack

I just got the call from by husband's nurse with his PSA results.  It is rising.  Again.  Still.  Not much, but then, he doesn't have a prostate, so anything above zero is something.  My hubby is a 12 year cancer survivor.  It has not been without problems, though.  He had surgery.  As they like to say, "they got it all with clean margins".  Being a cancer nurse, I understand that even clean margins does not mean it will not recur.  Well, he has had his follow up checkups, always on schedule, and there came a time he needed radiation, cuz his PSA was rising.  OK.  We got thru that.  It's not f

Poor Little Sick Boy

Just to follow up on my sick little guy.  In my last blog I spoke too soon!  He did not make it to Little Gym cuz his tummy ache got worse and he got a low grade fever.  Ohhh, poor little boy.  He's coughing, too.  And very snotty.  He slept most of the day yesterday, but woke up just long enuf to throw up all over the couch and floor.  Yuk!  What a mess.  Since he was asleep on the couch, around 7:00 last night I snuck upstairs to get some gaming in.  Yeh, I know, bad Mamma.  But Pappa was with him!  Soon he came wandering upstairs, looking like death warmed over, and asked to go to bed.

Just another day.....

Today is just another day in my household.  I have my 4 year old grandson for most of the week.  That means I don't have to work.  Keeping the grandchild has it's advantages!  We went to Little Gym Tuesday, which he luvs.  The "Big Show" is in about a month and they are practicing their routines.  So cute!  They do forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, balance beam and parallel bar routines.  It's mostly mass chaos, but, somehow, they pull it all together and the end result is pretty good.  The problem is, kids this age get colds and such so easily.  And with all the closeness and sharing of
