not???

My car isn't totalled!!!!  I don't believe it!   That means that my 1997 baby car is worth more than  $3000, cuz it will cost at least that much to fix it.   Nice.  I think the fact that I only have 95,000 miles on it and no history of any accidents might have helped.  /me does the Penni dance!!  It also sounds like the guy that started the chain reaction collision may be paying for it all.  The reason I think that is if MY insurance company had to pay, the car would be totalled.  I am quite sure of that.  w00t!  Life is good!  And I have a date tomorrow!  Even better!

totalled

*sob*, my baby car is totalled!  I expected it, but now I have decisions to make.  If I decide to keep the car, it is already sold to the same guy that is supposed to fix it.  I have had many offers for my car, mainly because they don't make them any more and they get such good gas mileage.  He wants to go ahead and fix it up for his daughter to drive.  Nice.  She will have that car for many more years, if she chooses to.  Or, I can fix it myself and just keep it.  That would be a bit expensive cuz it obviously will cost more to fix than it is worth.  Worth a lot to me!!!  Or, I can bite th

Worst first date evah! sorta.......

Wow, what a day yesterday.  I was, of course, nervous, but I got to take a day trip to Virginia, so it could only be good, right?  Ack!  I was in South Hill, VA when I ran into some traffic  and the E-way basically bacame a parking lot.  Dunno why, never did find out.   So, there I was, stopped in traffic, when suddenly I get whacked from behind in a chain reaction collision.  I was in the 3rd car.  Therefore, I was a sandwich.  And, my little baby car was the only one with very much damage...Blah!  I was undamaged, but I started to cry immediately.  This is not the way to start your first

Still Ouch

Wow, what a lousy time to have an aching back.  I have spent the last 3 days with a heat pack on my back and stuffing max doses of Advil just so I can function.  Not fair!  Crappy cuz my chiropractor is closed for the weekend (of course) and I have stuff to do!  We are having a belated Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter's this afternoon.  We were going to play some Wii, just for fun, but.....I don't think so.  I can only watch.  And, I have a day to spend in VA Sunday in a PUBLIC PLACE, with my new friend.  We are going to Panera Bread Co, hooking up our laptops, and go nuts with that!  Too

Ouch!

I am home from work today.  Not a bad day to call out, since it is the beginning of a 4 day weekend that I just turned into 5.  My back is very unhappy, tho.  I went to my CPR recertification class yesterday and apparently spent so much time "practicing" chest compressions that I pulled something in my back.  CPR is actually hard work!  And the "dummies" were on a table that I had to lean over and ooooooo my lower back.  So, as long as I am upright, I can walk slowly and stiffly.  I can't bend without a lot of pain, and I can't lift at all.  Sounds like a day off to me!  Ouch!  Even my coff
