Awww, man, postponing Busch Gardens cuz of stupid winter weather advisory.  Who knows if it will actually snow, and how much?  But, not taking the chance.  So, since I still don't have a car, and will now cancel the rental, I am switching gears.  I will have company arriving Sunday late morning and we are going to shop till we drop!  I am having Christmas Eve dinner here and have nothing at all!  I told him, I am not stopping until I am done.  Wow!  Everything takes 2 or 3 times as long to do things at this time of year, especially the Sunday before Christmas.  Yikes!  I will likely "drop"

My car is in the shop and won't be ready by Friday, as promised.  No surprise there, really.  So, I have a date for Busch Gardens Saturday and have to rent a car.  Not having a car at all is disconcerting.  It has been almost a week and I can't go anywhere except work.  Blah!!!!  Good thing I had company over the weekend to drive me places.  We went to see the movie 2012, which kept me on the edge of my seat.  Very good disaster movie.

Ah, me.  Life can sometimes come at you hard, and I have had some day today.  First of all, the insurance company (adjuster?) finally came to the decision that I was somehow at fault for this accident that happened to me while I was sitting still, minding my own business, stuck in traffic on the E-way.  I have been found at fault for "following too close", even tho I was hit from behind.  They say there is not evidence to back up that I was even hit at all!  OMFG!    And they called me at work to tell me that!  The whole day started falling apart, then.  By 2:00 I was on the edge, and by 3:

Gahhhhh!  The holidays.  Especially this year.  I have invitations to too many places, now that I have a new friend.  He is Italian, so family is important to him.  Am I ready to meet the family?  Dunno.  But, it will be an interesting couple of weeks, to say the least.

It's funny how real life can be hitting you hard and then suddenly it's all good.  Even better than good.  I get to keep my car.  It still has at least another 100,000 miles to go.  I have met someone who floats my boat.  I really thought all the good ones were married, but not this one!  We are having fun together, something I didn't even know existed any more.  I guess I lived in my cave too long.  Thank you to those of you who helped get me to this point in my life.  You all know who you are.  I luv all of you.
