Life is what it is and that is why I have not had a lot to say lately.  I get up in the morning, get some breakfast and coffee (gotta have it) and settle in to write emails, mess around on facebook, check out this site, and whatever other surfing I might feel like doing.  I make my lunch, get ready for work, drive to the park and ride, catch the bus, work my ass off, take the bus back to the park and ride, drive home, and when I walk in the door, I must play with my kitty or she whines and cries.  I change into "something more comfortable" (wouldn't you like to know!) and get a little somet

Life is good!  It's hump day!  I am also late nurse and I have learned to give up stressing about that.  It will get done.  I will get home.....sometime.  And my kitty will greet me at the door and dance around my feet with cat luv, as always.  I'll just grab something to eat and put a straw in my wine bottle.  Chill time, yeh.

Whew!  I'm glad that's over!  Monday!  Ever since I was a waitress back in the day (?), I have hated Mondays.  So many slackers out there.  Oh, I forgot!  I didn't have time.  He's here?  I thought he wasn't due till next week. I don't know this person.  I am covering for [insert doctor's name here].   I'm  talking about work, of course, and specifically doctors.  I had two patients waiting for me when I got there, and so I went right to work.  Oh, yeh, no chart, no orders.  Lucky me to get two of them first thing.  I had both literally all day while I was hunting down charts, docs, and ord

Well, he came, he went, and he left his calling card at my front door.  This pushes me closer to making it legal.  I know, it takes me a long time to decide to do things.  That is my way.  What did he leave me?  Champagne and a mushy card.  I threw the card away, but the champagne?  In the fridge, of course.  A big thank you to all of you that sent the virtual hugs.  The one from the boys was especially nice, Meemoos.  I know I can always count on my online family to support me when I need it.
