I just got home from work.  I'm actually 2old2play as well as 2tired2play.  So I am trying to relax, just me, my kitty, and a bottle of wine.  mmmmm

I finally heard back from employee relations about taking that "forbidden" time off in August.  There is no policy stating that I cannot have unscheduled time off in case of sickness or emergency.  I can have up to 3 days, and it would only be one occurence.  I will not be fired or some other awful thing.  I have a HUGE imagination.  Anyways, Awesome Town, I am ready, willing, and able.  w00t!  Barely more than a week away.

Ok, this is serious stuff.  Doodi's face and ATC's double blog have been up there for 2 days.  So I am kicking doodi off the edge.  Blogging has slowed tremendously over the past few months, even me.  Do you think you have run out of things to say?  uh uh...  There is always something!  Blogs are my breakfast reading.  I need stimulation!  Enuf said about that.

I eat crazy food.  Today, work was very slow, so I started thinking of what I might have for supper.  There was some ground turkey sitting in the freezer that I had extra from a 'buy one get one free' thingee.  So, I thought, what can I pile on, or include in, cooked ground turkey?  When I got home I cooked the turkey, divided it in half, and put half in the freezer.  Then I started rummaging thru my cupboards to see what I might throw in the pot.  I learned that from my daddy, bless his soul!  I found some stewed tomatoes.  Yep, throw those in.  Frozen french style green beens.  Sounds goo

I have a few important dates coming up...my daughter's birthday is Monday, and gson, Adtler's, is a week later.  There will be a big party at daughter's house with swimming and cooking out and food, food, food.  There is a problem, tho.  Gilbert will be there.  We have not spoken for weeks.  I think I pissed him off when I told him I had seen a lawyer.  I told daughter that we have not been speaking for a while, and she told me, don't worry, there will be plenty of people there for him to talk to.  That doesn't mean he won't try to corner me!  He's done it before, and now he is angry.  Ack!

EEK!  There was a huge, monstrous critter in my bathroom last night.  It sneered and growled at me, and then made a very menacing sound while preparing to have me for dinner.  I wanted to scream "critter, critter!" but I knew I was on my own with this one.  Looking around for a weapon, it occured to me that my only choice was to run downstairs and get out the big guns.  Prepared for battle, I snuck back up the stairs, careful not to let it know I was on my way.  I peeked around the corner, and there it was, crouched in attack mode, looking at me like I was dinner.  And there we stood, for a
