Really?

Ok, I think Mother Nature took me a little too seriously when, in my previous post, I said "screw summer." I think she misunderstood me. I meant to say I'm excited for November. I didn't mean for her to just forego summer. I was actually enjoying the weather we had here. Yesterday was unimaginably beautiful. Hell, at work I've been keeping the garage doors open all day because of how warm and sunny it's been.

So this morning my wife asks me to check the weather. I chuckled a little because when I glanced at my other monitor I saw this:

A reason to look forward to winter

I can't wait until November! The wife and I have front-row, center balcony tickets to the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert in Toronto. Not only that, but she's got us a room at the swank Fairmont hotel in downtown Toronto for the weekend. As if that wasn't enough, she emails me yesterday to tell me that composer Nobuo Uematsu will actually be at this particular concert and is hosting a "meet and greet" event afterwards. In the time it took me to reply "omg omg omg" she had already puchased us tickets to meet Uematsu after the show. I'm even more stoked than before.

I can feel it coming in the air tonight ... oh, lord.

It's funny how easy it is to fall back into old habits. Shortly after starting this blog it's fallen into the "neglected" pile on my desk. It's something I need to start making time for, I suppose. It's not entirely my fault though. Let me explain.

376 Days Later

One reason I started this blog was to brag. Sure, I can be altruistic from time to time but, let's face it, who doesn't love tooting their own horn.

On that note, Monday, March 1st, 2010, marked one year smoke-free for the wife and I!

A Little Backstory

Just what the Internet needs, another blog.

Writing's been a hobby of mine for years that I've fallen out of touch with. The wife, and some friends, have been bugging me to get back into it for some time now. I figured; what better venue than my favorite gaming community site? So, after weeks worth of background picture hunting and amateur photoshopping here it is; Soylent White's blog.
