Dean's coworker was recently complaining about how overwhelmed she is by all her homework. She's a mom to two, works full-time, and is working on her bachelor's degree. Being that great guy that he is, Dean offered to help our friend out with her latest assignment for a religion class. He just turned it in to her. Except, I'm getting fucked by the assholes that were supposed to fix my door ding. Instead, they half-assed fixed my door ding AND cracked my window. And THEN they asked me to file an insurance claim to pay for the window because "it's a pretty expensive window".

So far - I only have a few games in. I need to get some work done first...It's probably too early to call it, but it feels like an improvement over Gears of War 2. The Gnasher doesn't feel all sluggish, connections are pretty solid, etc. The new sawed-off might become the new camp-in-corner-steal-your-head-weapon...We'll see.

The week back to work after a vacation always blows! So yay, Friday!

Dean and I were on a cruise last week. We hit Costa Maya (meh), Roatan (pretty cool minus the multiple jellyfish stings I endured while snorkeling), and Cozumel, (nice). We were long overdue for a vacation. We hadn't been anywhere significant in 5 years, our 5-year wedding anniversary is coming up, and our first child is due in September.
