My husband rocks.

He emailed my boss two weeks ago and had her schedule an all day meeting with the Product Mgmt team so that nobody would schedule meetings for me on Valentine's. I got a surprise day off! You can't beat that. Waking up, ready to slog through Monday only to find out you don't have to go to work! We went and did a bunch of stuff together for the entire day - nothing fancy or extravagant - just fun time together.

You can't beat that. Waking up, ready to slog through Monday only to find out you don't have to go to work! We went and did a bunch of stuff together for the entire day - nothing fancy or extravagant - just fun time together.

Dean and I picked up a couple copies of Dead Space 2 yesterday. The original was a great game. And even though I'm sorta "meh" on sequels, it's something new to play and I'm glad I picked it up.

I played through 4 chapters last night and I'm looking forward to playing more. One of the things the devs did well is not fuck with you for hours and hours to get your powers back. You pretty much get stasis and kinesis right from the get-go. It's a slight wait to pick up a suit and some weapons (and there's plenty to purchase with sweet, sweet microsoft points). But it's not bad.  

Dean and I picked up a couple copies of Dead Space 2 yesterday. The original was a great game. And even though I'm sorta "meh" on sequels, it's something new to play and I'm glad I picked it up.

We got married in Fable, and then he wanted to divorce because he thought it would get him an achievement. I wouldn't let him divorce me though.

Then we played Dead Rising 2 for a while. In concept, this game should rule. Well it fucking sucks. I give it 3 out of 10. It would be a 7 if it stripped the whole element of time management from the game. What good is the ability to combine random shit into crazy ass weapons if you can't go around and use them? I really just want to spend an hour decapitating zombies.

I also booked a vacation for Dean and I to Costa Rica in March. We haven't gone anywhere in a long, long, time. If anyone has been and has some absolute must-see/do advice, let me know. We're staying near Manuel Antonio Park on the mid-Pacific side. Word on the street is to get out of San Jose as soon as possible.

All other dance games before Kinect are pure garbage. I've got about 5 hours in since Thursday night. That wouldn't be much for any other game. But after an hour of DC, I'm sweating my ass off. I can only put so much time in at once.

The music is good. The choreography is fun. The game mechanics are solid.

The difficulty levels are appropriate for any skill range. Level 1 songs on easy are stupidly simple. Level 5 songs on hard are challenging and will take practice to perfect.
