I meant to add this video to yesterday's blog, of my nephew Jordan (two years ago) kicking ass on Burnout Revenge... this kid is freakin' awesome! And don't mind my singing in the background... I tend to do that from time to time.  LOL

This gaming season, though awesome, is making it hard to develop the discipline & focus I need. There are entirely too many choices - I've already had to deny myself certain titles (Forza Motorsport 4, Battlefield 3). I'm improving at actually finishing games (and dipping into the backlog) - I've managed to complete the story modes of Batman: Arkham City and Gears Of War 3 (also did the entire GOW2 campaign the week before). I'm pretty much done with B:AC, because I don't care about the miscellaneous shit like Riddler Trophies.

The fine folks at Ubisoft launched the reveal trailer for their upcoming Rainbow Six: Patriots, so far slated for release in 2013. I have one thing to say... fuck yeah!

Batman: Arkham City is easily the best game of 2011 so far. I was hooked from the breathtaking opening scene (best I've seen in an age), and my fascination increases with each shadow I lurk in. The story holds my interest, which I won't divulge beyond this:  Quincy Sharp, former Arkham Asylum Warden, is now Gotham City's Mayor. He sectioned a part of Gotham City off, housing not only the Asylum's inmates, but also the baddies from Blackgate Prison. Shit happens, and Batman goes in to handle his business.

My buddy Brasher posted this on Facebook, saying the singer looks just like me. LOL!   I have to say, it kinda does.

The other day, I discovered something I can truly live without... grey hair in my beard. Today, I discovered something I welcome completely... the Achievement List for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

I have mixed emotions when it comes to the "Online VIP Pass" in games these days. If the Pass includes the right content, then the Pass is a lucrative idea - like EA including the original American McGee's Alice with copies of Alice: Madness Returns, or the Gears of War 3 Season Pass including (at a discount) the first four DLC packs. It's when a Pass is required to unlock more fundamental features - like online multiplayer (Mortal Kombat) or campaign chapters (Batman: Arkham City) - that I think publishers need to lighten up a bit.

Here's a little something for you guys who are looking forward to Battlefield 3... the Achievement List! There are also six Secret Achievements:  1 @ 30G, 3 @ 20G, 1 @ 15G, 1 @ 10G.

Did you ever hear the announcement for an upcoming game & think, "Shit, I hope this never sees the light of day?" I just did. TikGames, developer for digital-distribution platforms (XBL, PSN, mobile, etc) has announced their development of a Chucky game - yes, the killer doll from the Child's Play movies, and no, I'm not shitting you. No further details were released. TikGames' XBL titles include Texas Hold 'Em, Interpol: The Trail Of Dr. Chaos, and Domino Master - so I don't expect much.
