Alan Pope, Ph.D., NASA psychologist and electrical engineer who invented virtual reality biofeedback, has assembled some compelling research to support using video games in the treatment of ADD. If it weren't for that research, I'd be convinced that I have a gamer-specific form of ADD. Last night, I looked at my Xbox 360 game collection & thought "Damn, that thing is huge" (insert "that's what she said" joke here).

SAN FRANCISCO – Steve Jobs, the innovative co-founder of Apple who transformed personal use of technology as well as entire industries with products such as the iPod, iPad, iPhone, Macintosh computer and the iTunes music store, has died.

The Apple chairman was 56.

My bad, guys and gals - I couldn't return to the blog as quickly as I'd hoped. Well, to start, here is Jedi's Vacation Recap (which, unfortunately, did not include the tropical beaches or naked ladies pictured in the brochures)...

I seriously recommend intense psychotherapy for this kid... that, or his mom just needs to grow a pair & whip his ass.

Which dumbass forgot to reset his alarm, causing him to wake up way too damn early the first day of his vacation? This dumbass! Oh well. I guess anticipation would soon wake me anyway. After a haircut (a necessary evil, as my ear hair is driving me fucking nuts), it's Family Day! I'm taking my Mom & nephew Jordan to see The Lion King in 3D. I think I'm looking forward to this more than Jordan. I hear the 3D effects are actually worth the theatrical experience, so I'm a bit excited to see the movie in a different way. Plus, I'm just a giant kid.

Exactly 8 hours & 20 minutes til my vacation... not that I'm counting. 

Since Tuesday, I've been playing the shit out of Dead Island. I've managed to lose 12-15 combined hours of sleep so far, and starting my weekend today won't help that matter. I don't care, though... as the OC said, this game is fucking awesome!

One of my fellow Relics told me about this, and I verified it is 100% true (which makes even more fucking hilarious). Go to Google Maps, and enter the following address: "1760 Northwest 66th Street, Miami, FL". Zoom in & go to Street View, then pan around... yes, that IS what you think it is, your eyes are NOT deceiving you.
