Sorry I had to go but Am down with Family so hope we got some great shots. Last lap with Gizzie looked good and the pit stop might be useful?
Really looking forward to seeing the results.
I suppose the video is nice but will be a constant reminder to Parcells of my Gizzie bump in turn fucken one. Although in the video it looks more innocent than I knew it to be. Sorry Gizz but the cold tyres definitely caught me off guard.
That was fun but in case you guys didn't pick up on it Parcells didn't have the slightest clue what I was getting into (Brit Car promo) when I joined the room, hence my "why am I the only one moving off the grid?" moment during the first attempt. Even when I took out Gizzie I knew there was something odd about this race (our lining up in a certain order - hadn't a clue what lap one was all about, I was very confused at this point) and I kind of thought that ghosts were on too but not always???
In any case, the tyre's worked very well from Parcell's perspective. A little bit to get used to but no big deal. The cold tyre's and falling off quickly was definitely awesome. Reminded me of GT5's super soft tyre underneath a powercal car, lots of fun. Actually all of GT5 tyre's start off cold (and act it) but they don't all drop off as quickly.
In the race I was caught between two great tests. Driving the same car as Fitzy, I was maybe 2 seconds behind him when he pitted (lap 7, maybe 8) and barring stupidity, which is always part of Parcells arsenal, pretty sure I was keeping pace. On the one hand I kind of thought the cold tyre's on Fitzy's out lap could allow me to overtake him in the pits if I pit the next lap (???) or at least see how much time I make up...pretty sure I would have made up some time. And on the other hand of course I had to know how many laps I could do before the tyre's drop off completely which seemed to be about 12 laps
I pitted a lap earlier than everyone else Friday(?) night, and I gained position from last to third or fourth by the end of the race. WHich, considering I was smacked into a wall , probably on lap 1 I think, I did good. The tires are quite cold on the first lap, and I think this catches many off guard.
We found a car last night that was quicker than any thing else by over a second. The new Volvo, S60 - R type, i did a 2.02.725 in it without a tune, build only. :( No idea why its so damn fast, but it is aweseme out of the box.
This car is now banned, we have suspisions of another one but a lexus but we are checking that out.
@Parcells - that incident was perfect, it gave some nice footage and that was exactly what i wanted to see.

I am desperate to drive with you all in that event. I would like to "ride" a BMW M3 from 1991. Is there a chance for me, that someone will make a built that suites the regulations? And ..... is here a tuner who will tune this car for me? That would be great.

Unless someone has a suggestion for a different and interesting rwd inter, I think it's going to be the 1991 M3 here too. Tested a load of cars tonight including FWD and AWD and got some tempting results in some in terms of tyre wear.
But I must return to the RWD fold.
So suggestions?
If none then I would like grab that tune if at all possible Tourni.
PS - the way it reads to me is that a grip rating of 1.02 is allowed in an inter car. If not I'll need to make that extra clear.
I have never tuned a car before, so just a few questions. Is lateral G's the grip rating number? The grip rating for Inter shows 1.02, is having a grip rating of 1.028 ok.
Glad you are having ago at it, if you need any help with it then post up and we'll help you out.
The grip rating should be lower, than the class limit. So 1.019 against 1.02, this can be achieved by removing aero parts or decreasing tyre width. :)
I have the car built and painted (Lancia Delta Inter) meet all specifications, Weight/BHP/CC/etc. Most parts are not tunable, Springs/ARB/etc, some are tunable Aero/Diff/Gearing. Can not figure out tuning, wondering if i can get a Tune from someone that knows what they are doing.
Team Atlantic LS has openings for drivers. One of the cars to choose from is a Lancia Delta. If you are interested send me a PM.
Mark, you should try to get in on this.
Message sent.
Agreed on that, these guys are good :)
XSitement, you'll have a hard time tuning the lancia well. This is one of the more difficult cars as it requires a bit of a rebalance to get the nose to point in without too much oversteer. I'm more than happy to walk you through some tuning - but its a bit of a long road.
My advice would be to start a project car and add one suspension component at a time, take it round a track and adjust it untill it goes faster. More importantly, learn why it went faster and how it changed the car in one of the 3 states of cornering, Entry, mid, Exit. :)
the xbox froze up guys and i just called it, could not get into a rhythm goin tonight at all

Hi Surf
I sent you a PM.
Thanks,

Go CIVIC!
I really need to figure out and get a car built for this...
My first real video so be kind please.

nicely done mate :D
Poidsly - pictures are on my SF, just waiting for one more from Atlantic and then you'll be all set.
I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.....I may end up building an old ATCC car ('86-92 Group A) if I can get one to suitably fit within the parameters.

My design is ready:

One more question. It states " build parts allowed " drag tires and race cage, is this a choice or a must use.
Its a must :)
1st post amended, thanks xsitement.
Inter class demo lap , hope this helps some people :)

are we supposed to pick/build one car for each class or one car from one class or one car to cover all three classes ?
You racing all three at once? - that'd be impressive :D
Pick a class you want to drive in and then build a car for that class.
