Ran some laps w/ kraigger the other night. Going to be a little different just showing up and driving as opposed to building/tuning/painting and driving. But being really busy right now, I think this is probably a better allocation of my time.
Pretty sure 2+2 is ok. Hope so as I realised the 944T is eligible for club. Built one, but not yet tested.
Actually the 944T (951) is only eligible for Super. The car comes from the factory w/ a 2.5L turbo 4 (250HP).....unless you can swap in a smaller displacement motor. That is the killer for the Alfa GTV-6 too...2.5L from the factory. In the Alfa's case, I don't know if you can cram enough tire under it to be competitive.
Does anyone have access to the Alfa? Could you tell me what the max tire sizes are F/R? I haven't purchased the car pack, so I really don't want to go out and buy the DLC car just to confirm my suspicions.
I already did that the other night w/ the MG BGT. Oh well, I wanted that car anyway.

Yeah, kinda what I was expecting. If you were able to shove some 285s all the way around it may have had a chance. Or if they had the 4 cyl Alfetta motor as an option (2.0L 4 cyl), would've made for an excellent club car.
Hey Tourni, I built a 2000 Saleen S281.I built a 2nd copy & added my paint then sent over to you. Check it over & make sure everything fit's the spec. I think I got it right.
as this is open to non 2o4F would you like me to promote it at RaceDepartment if I can get away with it? May get a few more to the grid ...... They are mostly over 25 and good,clean racers ..... Some as fast as you aliens too!
@Defy. I don't see it been an issue as long as they are over 25. So tell them to get signed up here and jump in
Suffering burnout probably :)
i'm certain the over 25's will be fine. Those who aren't won't be able to sign up to this place :(
not sure what the options are there, but can I suggest pointing them in the direction of the thread in the race lounge over at fm.net for info in the meantime.
The britcar rules state that is must be 4+ seats inclusive, so the 944T and FRS should be allowed.
J I'll have alook at your car, should be an interesting choice and i was hoping to see abit of muscle car in the thread.
and, by all means put the word out to over 25's, I particularly want to see more rookie drivers in that we can help and race with.
Tourni, I've added a race transmission & plus sized the wheels by 1. I'll send an updated tune later today. aLthough I'm confident that everything is within the regs.
Any other mid-level drivers thinking about playing around in the Super class? I'm really tempted to run the SLK...
Still undecided sherb....been running through a few choices and can't settle on one. Think there is still a few choices I haven't tried yet. SLK was fun !!!
Forgive me for being dense, but I don't see anything about engine size ine game. How can I tell what it is? I'm going to try & choose a car today.
displacement = engine size
Ok I just had to figure out the conversion. You fucking euro guys & your crazy metric system. :)
Last time I looked Litres were metric..Oh and cc's cubic centemeters also metric ...Anyhoo signed up in the hope my lagging days are over.
5.7L=5700cc
Before I spend a whole lot of time fiddling can I use the FRS and is it the Silverstone GP circuit that the figures have come from?
Ta.
P.
We are running at Silverstone GP
Does the FRS have 4 Seats?
If so then I would say its ok if it comes in on the requirements of motor size + weight and HP.
#Tourni are these seats?
It's a 4 seater according to the Scion spec sheet. A 2+2.
http://www.scion.com/cars/FR-S/specs/
Be good to have that clarification on the 2+2. If the 2+2 configuration is deemed not legal, that will rule out a lot of coupes.
Looks like it wil make a good Club racer so will have a fiddle and see how far I am away from the pack.
is 2.10-2.11the target time?

Great to see lots of folks looking at this.

Bugger. To good to be true :)
Give me 2 min helios and I will see if I can get the GTV-6 to spec
It may be too light as well.....
Front = 245
Rear = 245
Max Grip is 0.972
After a lot of effort got it to
369hp
3064 weight
Will tune her up see what she is getting then I will pm you my times.
The GTV
It looks pretty

Just been playing and with my crap style can get the FR-S into the 2.11 with a probably another second or so to come out of learning how to drive it.
MGB, well lets just say it is fun but will not be competitive. Might try it all motor rather than big turbo as it just does not have the speed.
Tried to build a Lotus Cortina but need to eat a lot more donuts...
Next is the 2002T and then the 2000GT-R.
