We are on Iberian Short next week.
Yes, #68 is available.
You can paint what ever you want as long as the race plate from my storefront is on both sides of the car and a number on the back.
I have two tunes on my storefront currently.
Search ALS Yaris Cup to find tunes and race plate.
Great Racing last night...My Thanks to Armor and Kraigger for outstanding racing...Armor is Uncanny...When the race was over he still beat my best time by several tenths with his major handicap..UNREAL!!!
P.S. Thanks Kraigger for the GOODIES...My Sincere Appreciation!!

That was great fun :) it took me 15+ laps to get into second and another few to catch up to Wheels and then for some reason his car got really wide and I couldn't find a way past. Almost got it a couple times but that handcap just didn't agree with the straight stretches..... hahaha. And with Wheels and I battling, we let Kraigger catch back up and it was a great three way battle for the last couple laps. But all in all that had to be one of the funnest races I have had in a long time, love the challanges. I hope I can make a few more of these.
YES HE DID!! I think that gets him a free move to the next group........ haha . Wheels drove a great race, we kept it clean and just had a fun battle for the lead, but all the pressure I could put on him just didn't rattle him at all, no mistakes made by Wheels.

Thanks Church/Armor
Armor..If we were running neck and neck..You Heavily Handicapped..Me Amateur..Wouldn't it seem obvious that if I move up...YOU move up!!!!...haha
P.S. Anyone Agree???
P.S.S. I would think if a Amateur like myself can run neck and neck with someone like Armor...Then the Handicaps are Dead On!!!
bummed I missed the race this week.. wife was out of town which left me on duty with the kids so couldn't get freed up for this. Next week for sure though, sounds like everyone had a blast!
Thanks again for the invite! Fun race had a run in wth Macdawg (SORRY!) and could not catch up to the pack . I also ran with a older tune from the SF and not the the newest V3 tune not sure if it would have made a difference. See you all next week .
I have been chatting with some guys and getting message about trying to bring the field closer.
Now with more level of handicapping it is hard as there can only be 4 groups. Right now we are at Amateur - Stock, Pro-Amateur - 10% reduction, Pro - 15% reduction, Veteran - 20% reduction.
My only thought is go to a wider gap in the groups. For example Amateur - Stock, Pro-Amateur - 10% reduction, Pro - 20% reduction, and Veteran - 30% reduction.
Thoughts?
Now with the minor changes (ghost for qualifying and the increase of 5% reductions) made for the last race was good. I want to know what everyone else thinks about do we stay the same or make another increase in the groups.

I feel that the last race was good. If the track is a fast track like Maple Valley Short the I think a bigger reduction would be too much, but on a track like Laguna I think it could work. But I guess if everyone takes a jump in class except the guys who were running :50:xxx's + last race it may work. My only concern would be a one line track and no matter what kind of run out of a corner there would be absolutely no chance of passing because you will always get passed back or outrun down the straights. Just my thoughts............... But in the end, I love a close race and a challanging race
I would try same settings from the race that we just ran. Try a diiferent style track and see if the results are the same, Once the results are in then you can determine if changes need to be made.
I agree with Armor and Inka (Hot Bod) Pain. The only thing keeping me ahead was that long section at full throttle. Without that I would have been mid pack I think. Really depends on the track.
The settings last night, from my perspective, seemed
pretty close. Especially when we ran the quick 5 lapper at Maple Valley afterwards. Anytime I can stay
within eyesight of Armor's bumper for 4 straight laps,
that's about as competitive as I am going to get.
Handicaps are definitely track specific. It's the hardest to adjust. It always took alot of time to work out in ProAm. Sometimes it just wasn't possible to get it right. We found that on some tracks and cars, the handicaps made for faster laps. Horsepower reduction can be your friend sometimes. I know most of you hate running grip handicaps, but small grip changes can make a biggger difference than larger h/p reductions. Works best with the lower classes....F-B.
For setting the field....run your practice laps w/o handicaps and use the compare lap times for your finishing order...after a few runs this will set the lobby up with fastest-slowest based on lap times. For the race you set the order by lobby points and then set yes for ascending. That will invert the field. No need for a parade lap. The only problem with this is when racers show up right before race time and haven't established proper lobby points based on their speed. That was the biggest problem we had in ProAm. No shows for practice ended up at front of the pack and ran away. With handicap racing the before race practice is very important.
I will be better this week, watch you mirrors.

thx for the race guys! I was a bit out of my league but still had fun... my main focus was trying to stay out of the way of the guys lapping me. haha
I'll have to give the new tune a try along with some practice on the next track... see you guys next week.
