hows the Race07 handling, physics etc compare to rF1? as i enjoy the WTCC/BTCC cars

Smok3y, you should join us.  Race 7 is only 2.99 on steam.  I've been using it for almost a year now with like 140 hours I it. I don't have rf1 but for $3 what do you have to lose. We need more humans in our leagues.

ya will do then ill buy the whole pakage tonight when i get home

I've become a huge fan of rfactor and its physics! I mostly run touring cars in both games btcc/wtcc which the majority of cars are fwd I feel race 07 fwd models are done very well and feel good. I've tried many fwd touring car Mods on rf1 and most of them feel like somethings off or missing ? Skoda mod and mini mod are the best comparable fwd models ive come across.

Yay, Smokey's in de house. Yeah man, R07 is worth having, it is of course the same game engine under the hood as rF1 so easy enough to get to grips with. The UI is a bit different and the feel of the driving is different too. Not in a bad way though. My first thought were, it was easier to drive, now while I still think that, it is not so easy to drive fast. This is Sim Bins calling card, sims that are easy to drive from the off, but that repay work.

Looks like as a league we are the touring car fans, which is a nice balance to GBR. As we grow I am sure we will run other cars, Kurupt is a mad mod tester LOL But as GBR is at it's heart a V8 league 2O2R is a BTCC nuts natural home.

I think you will enjoy the racing, it is intense but soooo much fun.

Though they are pretty tricky to drive.  Once they start sliding...they don't like to come back.

I hear ya Church.  Even a pro-RWD guy like myself opted for a FWD.  157

If you go into ytheres a line in the controller.ini folder that controlled how much grip is in the front tires....its set to .9000 if you change it to .500-.6000 it makes the rwd wtcc cars way easier and allows you to feel what that rear tires are doing. I'll post up later when I know exactly what line it is. All the other rwd cars in the game are fine

Iam not a 100% sure it will help, you ll have to test and see. For church I doubt it will make a difference for since you wont give your wheel a chance :) I did this in rfactor for the rwd cars in the btcc mod iam testing and it made a noticeable difference in the bmws

Count Parcells in and not necesarily because of a "fat arse" joke I read recently :)

Clearly Church tried using a wheel recently but Parcells was never in on the reasoning for his wimping out. Was it nothing more than Church is weak and couldn't handle the 2 month learning curve it takes to master the wheel?

Interesting to hear Church's take and of course any other's take on Church's wimpiness could be entertainign as well...feel free to speculate of course :)

The main thust of his defence seems to be lack of room...The truth is of course more complex. First he is at heart an arcade racer who quetly uses any assist aviliable to him, only this could explain how someone with so little talent that he can't drive a car with a steering wheel manages to win races.

Second, it is obviouse he wears the skirt in his house as we are always having to accomadate his "Family" schedual.

I have told him to man up and buy a space saving Rennsport stand, get a mans wheel amd sit in a mans seat...But sadly he just wimpers like the girl he is and tells us how he has been allowed to have another cushion.

There you go Parcells, that the kind of abuse you were looking for? 76

Yes Knight, that's the truth I was hoping to hear. Like the extra dig regarding his latest cushion acquisition, you worked that in well.

tbh i cant beleive someone can love racing games & use controller!! its like playing a FPS with a wheel.... it doesnt take long to get the feel for the wheel and its worth the effort. aand its even more satisfying racing without assists they are for girls

Reasons are as follows in order of importance's

1. Lack of space

2. I need a "mans" wheel

3. I got board of playing Euro Truck simulator

4. To get a man's wheel I need to spend money on gaming equipment

5. I cannot driver with one

6. I lost allot

7. It was really hard to use

8. Every time I used it I had to mess around setting it up

9. The mic did not work right with it

10.î don't get enough seat time to practise anymore

Also I don't use assists knight and my new pillow has Santa on it, so there.

And where did parcels pop up from!
