Yes, a bunch of us moved on to Stormbluff Isle. The Gates Of Madness server got labeled as hackers in WvW and guilds left in droves. So we up and left to greener pastures. Stormbluff Isle is a Teir 1 WvW server and is very active. A few of us still play and managed to find a very large guild with a similiar philosophy as 2o2p.
Thanks for the info. I don't even know what server I'm on, so I might have to change or I might not. I've not done any PvP or WvW stuff, so I've not been in on the 'hacker' chat, I guess. I've played for a couple of months now, a couple evenings a week, and have a pretty good grasp of the game basics and want to get on with other players now, so if there are any openings to a guild from this group, I'd love to jump in.

Myself & Tourni are usually running PvE Friday afternoons my time (1-4pm PST). Working on getting world completions. It's nice to have a tank around when I'm playing my squishy elementalist.
Elementalists are so OP right now. My dumb ass decided to level a broken class, Ranger. On the 14th we're due a slight buff with more to come. I figure by the time I'm 80, they'll have the class working.
I'm also looking at doing some more sPvP on my Warrior. Maybe even some tPvP.
My main alts are a human ranger & norn warrior, lvl 9 & 16 respectively. I tend to go to those when I'm on by myself on non-Fridays. I tend to save the squishy elementalist when I've got a little close range support (Fridays). One on one, I can do alright, but getting ambushed by 3 Ettins...I tend to find myself in a bit of a pinch.
My main toons are a Necromancer (level 23) and a Warrior (level 54). Both of them make for pretty decent tanks and they have been pretty easy to push through the PvE campaign solo (so far), but I really want to start playing with others.
eles can be very strong if you know how to use them. Defintely the hardest class to master in the game. a lot of diffrnet builds you can do. I am running a pretty tanky condition build spec right now to account for the squishyness of the light armor. Although there are glass cannon builds that put out crazy burst damage.
started a guiardian and will also be going with a tank buils (Power, Tough, vit) and i can already see this guy will be unkillable but wont be able to put out the damage. will need to rely on others to do that.
I ran my Ranger and gained a few levels. I had to switch to my Warrior as the Ranger couldn't keep up with the Havoc squad we were running. With the Warrior, I can keep swiftness up 100% for me and others.

You may have to keep trying. It's a Teir 1 server but it does open up. Usually very off hours though.
