I have allowed 20 drivers for each room. I know a few drivers will only be able to make a few races so im hopeing it should balance out at 16 per room.
The room placements are currently looking like the following: (Drivers in bold have sent me a replay / done a qualification event)
Anyone interested in running some laps tonight with these cars?
I'd like to get a better idea how the car handles when making traffic corrections. Specifically, it's REALLY low on torque, and I think this could make it a much better hot lap car than an actual race car.
Anyone have a build/tune of the Cosworth Ford they are willing to share? The minimum weight mark is giving me fits. Closest I got was either 200lbs over, or about 45lbs under.
I wanna give this one a tray since it has a BUNCH more torque than the Merc.
Just back from my top secret test session of the filthymonkey Motorsport btcc car, my question is are my times gonna be competitive? Hit a 1:34 at silver stone int. I know I'm not going to win but want to be having a good battle with some cars around me, even if we are all at the back. :)

Which car was it? My best with the 190 Merc was a 1:31:7. However, most of my lap times are .5-1 second slower than that. I'm really struggeling to get faster in one area of the track, and actually nailed it on the 1:31 lap.
I feel 'for me' this was a good lap. So while I'm faster here I'll lay money down that you will be faster on other tracks than me. Indy GP for instance. I just can't figure that place out.
Either way it will be more fun than public lobbies, getting punted off track, getting pitted on a strait, and 2-5 guys in a verbal pissing match all in one race.
EDIT: I have a feeling the Merc will be a good car on some tracks and not on others, and have a feeling it's a pretty good car at Silverstone International.
I think I have more speed to come but for now that's the best I've done that's a clean lap. I have a few cars I'm trying out but the one I'm talking about here is an Astra, photos on my storefront, filthymonkeyuk. If anyone wants a sneak peek :p
For me anyway I lose a bunch of time in the last few tight turns before the start/finish line. So, I think I give up just a little bit everywhere else to prevent giving up a bunch there. If I could get the tight right hander down at the end of the strait I'd be golden. That's where I'm losing a bunch of time.
I've been making runs in the tuning garage since you can make adjustments on the fly, but I'll try and get a lap in the leaderboards up so i can save the replay, and maybe others can tell me where I can go faster. filthymonkey if you can do the same and I'll take a peak at yours. Maybe we can help each other out.
Yeah cud do that, I think I've got an ok base tune, just every change I make now only seems to slow the car down. Think I'm ok on the first corner taking that at 90 to 100 mph but for all I know that's slow lol. Maybe I just need to look at it with fresh eyes tomoz.
Ok here's my tune, maybe someone can see we're I'm going wrong.

any imput would be a help thanks.
My basetune is similar, but one of the things I found with my testing w/this car is that I could crank up the diff and it put power down in those tight turns much better. I think I'm at 55-60% on acceleration.
I'd give that a shot first.
Have you used the telemetry? You might be able to up the negative camber a tiny bit up front. That isn't terribly stiff in the spring department since the ARB's are pretty small. I had to up mine to 1.1f, 1.0r after checking the tire temps.
Qualification Time in the Abarth on National is 1:12.474. I have not decided what car I'm going with officially. It's a toss up between the Golf, Altezza, and IS300.
Times in but 2010 VW Golf remains under Mapo. Can you delete and shift to my name? Can't seem to access it.
Ok this event is now FULL

Just did a 1:13.987 thought i did quicker but it was not a clean lap. Replay on my store front.
That Abarth is god awful isn't it?!
Can you add that to the list please church.
Will do fella.
@Zeratul - In regards to tire width you can go as large as you like

Hmmm, yeah.....guess I should probably get this done.
Time to fire up FM4 for the first time in a couple weeks.
Hell, I think it may even be the first time in a week the x360 has even been powered up.
Well, didn't get any BTCC prep done.....
But I did paint a car for DTM. Progress I suppose.....

1:10.869 replay on SF (ewww... fwd cars)
Think I'm going with the Merc 109... Any painters have something I could use(buy if needed) and allow me to put #70 on?
In my best Doctor Evil voice: "one million dollars" (credits)...please let me know...thx
Lol Vin....Churchpro has a number plate on his s/f if your million dollar offer doesn't get grabbed up. : )
Vin, send me a F'R and I'll send you a paint with your number on it, and I'll have to look at Tourni's number plate...anyone have a PIC?
Right on, will send a FR soon.
Easy to set fast times without traffic...put some cars out there and momentum is squandered. I drive like a Grandmother when surrounded by traffic.
edit: 22:00 GMT is 15:00 MST (and daylight savings) if my numbers are correct, I will try and be around for/and attempt at an online run.
Church, just send me that number plate, unless it's one of mine!
The fastest time yet!
Dont forget tonights qualification event:
Tuesday 15th Jan @ 10:00pm GMT (45 min Event)
Hello,
@church: I am not at home until Saturday. Will make my quali then!
