I did once go to a big assed party full of folk from another forum, there was a group of folk in a huddle then suddenly one turned to me and said " Oh! so YOUR Knight of Redemption" What ensued was one hell of a party
The clue was in the word "ride" you "ride" bikes and "drive" cars...but I suppose you Yanks have mangled the English language so much that maybe you lot "ride" cars...so I am afraid my preference is still FWD
No not one Renaissance fair, that is where you Yanks mangle history from what I have seen on the internet.
I run a combat display team that work at historical locations educating the public on all things sword and armour related.

Im afraid Knight that witty banter wont work on Americans. Shame
Way to go Knight!!! Years ago when Parcells was young and foolish (OK, I was 41 but I know this audience) my favorite drive type was clearly AWD. Then I came to my senses although the verdict remains out on that. Its too bad all RWD cars are not mid-engine :(
Yeah, Church is right. Around here if you're "riding" a bike, you're the bitch on the back...
And I might point out most bikes are mid-engine, or is that motor?
Dear dear, my poor deluded friend yes the engine is in the middle but the drive is to the rear wheel and that is the bone of contention, not where the engine is. So you drive a bike? *Shakes head sadly*
And you calling my ol' lady a bitch? I'll do you a favour and not tell her.
In other news Windows 8? bag of shite, after it updated today it bricked my new laptop, would not boot, kept saying it was repairing itself but was it hell. Just sat there saying repair finished for an hour. No amount of rebooting would make it finish that process, so restored Win 7.
Someone else, ( the Parcels who shall remain nameless) mentioned RWD's should all be mid engine, or something like that, I tuned it out...

Here in the states, riding on the back of a bike is commonly called 'riding bitch", especially on a Harley (strangely it's usually not intended to be offensive(?))
And I usually go for a drive on the bike...have three, so I guess I can say that.
I was responding to Parcell's assumption that because I correctly used the word "ride" to refer to motorcycles I was actually declaring love for RWD cars (that I still hate with a vengeance in the Sim world) The mid engine comment was a non sequitur.
Riding Bitch is a new one on me, been many years since I was in touch with American Biker parlance...sadly, I miss it terribly and will always be a Biker at heart.
We would never say going for a drive on a bike...always ride, as in ride free, ride safe. It's bike riders, car drivers...Heh once again two countries divided by a common language :-)
Well Knights back up on the board!
Is it because Oldschool overtook Lala?
Who knows!
Lala was never above me, since the great exodus....
There are just two more places added...I guess anyone with over 1500 posts was deemed worthy.
quite worthy.
Next time you're at a party, bring your forum points into the conversation. You'll be the life of the party!
Really? I'm guessing that anyone with over 1500 was just deemed "wordy."...rhymes with nerdy.

that's knight on his trusty steed
As long as it ain't RWD Knight'll ride it!
Nah ah, I will only ride rear wheel drive.
I choose to ignore that other post
I thought you were a diehard FWD addict? What happened?
And I bet Knight's been to more than one renaissance fair?

So you also drive a scooter?
That reminds me.

It's pretty much interchangeable here. I'd say the crotch rockets vs the cruisers are another world apart as well.
Ah well that last is a universal, had both but am a lowrider at heart. Had an HD 1340 Lowrider for a while, that was a beast, and the sound...
