Smallest motor I've got in a car is the 1.8L in the 914.....though that may be changing to a 2.7L in the not so distant future.
Then there is a 302ci (5.0L) and a 390ci in the other 2.

As for engine swaps, I do have a 350 ci Chevy under the hood of my CJ-5! Totally impractical, and a lot of fun.

Have the Jeep and my Dakota 4wd with the 4.7l engine, really like that one. Had too many V-8's to count. One of my boy's has a 302 in his first truck.
Just the fuel cost over here is crazy.
Also V8 is a very dirty word which is a great shame!!
