It's so funny how bad the other 2 servers are at open combat. We rarely lose, even with the odds against us. We faced SoS out in the open. They were trebbing our Garrison on SBI BL. We run out to meet them and after a few minutes completely wipe them Hell, it was even [Agg] who are supposed to be one of their better guilds. They totally outnumbered us but it didn't matter. Trebs down, red is dead.
I havent been able to get for crap over the holidays. Kids are drving me crazy cant wait for scool to go back in session.
Working on ranking up my guardian right now. But will flip to my ele if anyone wants to do dungeons or FOTM. Havent done any level in FOTM yet so want to check it out.
Gues who's the new WvW Commander in town? This guy, that's who. They collected funds and made me a commander. Now I'll have to figure out WTF to do and play serious.
I've decided my main is my Ranger. He's just so useful in WvW with the ranged options. My warrior is pretty much shelfed for the time being. I'll dust him off if I run in a Havoc squad, solely for the speed boosts he gives. I have him all armored up looking pretty cool any way. I'm not digging the thief too much. I got him to 30. I want to get him to 80 so I can run some WvW with him just to piss people off. I also want to get him to 80 so Thieves get the proper nerf they require. Because when I ding, ANET will patch them. That's fact.
i am kind of liking my guradian in wvw. i am generally using a greatsword but my second weapon set is scepter and torch so there is some range. But generally run witht eh greatswrod and jump in drop some aoe buffs do some spins and get out.
Broke my WvW Commander cherry tonight. And yes I led my team to their deaths many times. But whatever. We held what we were supposed to hold on SOS' BL and then some. We managed to hold the southern supply camp, take and hold Bay, the supply camp just north of that. Last but not least, SoS's North Western Tower. JQ owned SOS's garrison, SoS trebbed a wall down and tried to take it back. What does Lala do? He takes his weak ass, 10 man zerg and joins in on that battle. My silly ass Ranger thinks he's a tank. Screw it. We fought SoS, JQQ and we almost got in. We were actually so close I could taste it.

I just picked the game up a week ago. I'm mainly playing on Daemon as Dragon faction, toon name "Raygin". I have a Templar faction toon on Cerberus to try out some different weapons combos plus I kinda love the advanced deck outfits Templars get, more so than Dragon.
Have you tried the PvP yet? I'm still trying to figure out a good deck build and get some better gear before I jump in. Been running a Blade/Pistols deck and loving it but I have nearly no heals.

I'm pretty sure I've seen mention of a Jan update though I have no idea what it contains. Anet's plan is supposedly small changes over monthly updates so I suspect we'll just see more tweaks and nerfs/buffs to professions but some new content is sorely needed imo. Not sure I'll still have any interest in GW2 in Feb if nothing new is added to keep me around. Especially with SBI performing so badly in WvW lately.
So i think our server is pretty much fucked. We are getting slaughtered any time other than prime time east coast. Where the hell did everyone go. If we dont do well this week we will probably drop from tier 2 to Tier 4 or 5.

Agreed, seems to be going the way of HoD and ET, from Tier 1 to bottom of the barrel... With paid transfers being implemented soon I'm seriously considering moving to a different server. I like SBI and the guild we joined here but if I'm stuck on a server (I won't pay to transfer) that sucks at WvW then I just won't be playing GW2 anymore.
I think the only hope for SBI might be when they make Ascended gear obtainable through WvW, then all the asswipes who hang out in LA running fractals all day might go back to WvWing. The issue then becomes what will happen first, paid transfers or new WvW content?
I'm not so sure we'll be sinking just yet. We've just picked up some new guilds and I'm hoping we can turn this shit around. According to the SBI community site, one is supposed to be very large and from IoJ. While I'm frustrated with WvW right now, I'm hesitant to leave. I like the people we run with and the community on the server is pretty good.

Yeah i feel like that may happen. I know the clan leaders have been doing heavy recruiting to the server though. I dont want to transfer again unless the whole clan goes in which case we will probably loose half our numbers but then i guess that might be a good thing.
Prepare to transfer. MMO players are so silly and everyone is panicking. SoR is a T1 server in the T2 bracker. TC sucks and is just thankful SoR is focusing on us. If we faced 2 servers like TC, things would be completely different. But weeks of double teams is killing morale. This weekend is the end of free transfers. I think a lot of WvW guilds are planning to move. We may make a jump. I'm not happy about this at all as I really liked the server's community.
I tried to play last night and it was maybe the worst WvW experience I've had in game yet. Just SoR camping us at our spawn in EB for an hour before I got sick of it and logged off. Their zerg was so big it never fully loaded on the screen, died to invisible enemies way too many times. We had nothing in any of the BL's either, just terrible. So, yeah, I'm ready to transfer...
That's odd, I played in EB after 9:30 and we held more than our share of that map. Plus, we face rolled SoR all night long. Only died once and that was because we raided SM castle. We also did not own any BL. It was a ghost town.
I know a lot of guildsleft. I'm waiting to see what our current guild says. I'm sure it'll be an hot topic tonight. One of other guilds I like on the server moved to JQ, which sucks. I think the only top tier server that's open is SoR. I don't think any other server will offer a better experience in wvw. Unless you want to go balls out and switch to Kaening. WM went there. I do hate following guilds though. WM tucked tail and left one server, who's to say they don't do so again. I really think it's silly that people jumped ship so fast. A bunch of front runners if you ask me. SoR is a T1 server. SBI handled TC easily. But people quit so quickly that if you want to WvW y ou have to switch.
I'm kind of bummed as I really liked where we were. I really had a good time while I was in SBI.
They need to decide quick, with 1 week cooldowns on transfers you only have 1 shot to get it right. And everyone will be scrambling to switch servers soon so getting everyone on the desired server might be tricky.
Crystal Desert looks to be the new home. The are kicking ass in T3 and should be T2 next week. We met with the community and they seem to be very well organized. They have a very large and active teamspeak server. They are also not always showing full so we should have no issues getting everybody over. Something we can't guarantee with a tier 1 server.
I've been checking since last night but CD is always at FULL status. Is the decision final as in I should hop over if I see it not FULL, or are they still waiting to talk to guilds from FA?

Decision is final, we are at Crystal Desert. It's not always full, I just transfered.
