71...Not too late...You can take my place...Seems as if I have no luck lately in any racing series..Every week something pops up!
Awesome, thanks Wheels. Sorry to hear you can't make it, I appreciate you giving your spot to me. I just joined 2old4forza and want to get in on some racing. Wasn't sure if you guys were cool with someone joining mid series.
So I have a spot for just this next race or all of the rest?
71...You can have my spot for the rest of the series...The way things have been going for me lately Tuesdays have been bad and missing so much time isn't fair to anyone. Good Luck and Thanks Kraigger for EVERYTHING...My Sincere Appreciation...Had a GREAT TIME!!!!!

I would like to apologize for last night's race I got caught up with brnt or even thrust in a paint exchange. My wheel was acting up and even my headset lost communication , I'm not a dirty driver. Sorry !
I can not speak for others but I play this game for fun and relaxation. At times I have been taken out and yes it can be frustrating but I just remember that it happens and that I have taken a few people over the years by accident.

I was wondering what was up Ink, it was so outa character for you. Usually you run a good line and are hard to pass but if you go wide you hold that line and race side by side well, but last nite was different and then not to be able to communicate with you about the contact had me wondering what was up. Thought I pissed u off,, well more than usual. But hey shit happens I realize that and didn't have a problem bringing up the rear.
As for sandbagging, in all the heats trying to get the handicap right I never seen any 17's being run, but there were plenty after the race finished, sometimes that happens. Best I could do was an 18.2 which was better than the high to mid 18's in the heats tho. It's not a perfect system by any means but you have to admit that it does keep the racing close and everyone running hard to keep up. That track was tough to pass on and trying to run two or three wide which was happening had caused alot of bumping and grinding and led to some cautions. I felt things calmed a bit later in the race and we had quite a few laps caution free from mid race on which helped everyone focus on turning some good laps and times. It was not the best race but it wasn't too bad imo due to the crowded tight field and track.
I had a tough night last night with my handicap. I started in pro and best I could do was mid 19s. I moved down to proam for the race. the longer I ran the faster I got. I don't run this track that often. My guess is that the poor showing was just being unfamiliar with the track. Someone did ask if I "brake checked" them. Nope not at all but because of my lack of time on the track my brake points were erratic at best. Next race I will get more practice in.
Times will drop as you get a handle on the car/track combo. It has in every handicapped race I have been in.
First of all I want to thank everyone that raced with me last night..This was the FIRST time that I had ever been in a "orginized" race like this. I feel that Kraigger did a great job in trying to get the handicaps right. I didnt even know that puting handicaps like that was even possible. I ended up finishing 4th with a high 17 or a low 18 as my best lap...and during the qualifying i was a consistant high 18...I only bring this up because the word "sandbaging" was mentioned. I do feel that during the qualifying I (and maybe others) had higher times just for the fact of the ghosting with the cars. I had a problem with this.. It made me want to brake when I didnt have to...I realy dont no other way of fixing that other than maybe have a stagered start in the qualifying....like 5 to 10 seconds...I dont know if even this is possible..
Regardles I had the best time last night..It was 30 min of on the edge of my seat racing and I thank you. Tuesdays are hard for me to race but if I ever get a oportunity again I will definitly join up....
So sorry to anyone I may have given a hard time too trying to get around me last Tuesday night. For some reason, there was a very large X across my back window that blocked almost the entire rear window, so my rear view was useless. I tried to stay on the racing line through the corners and give way when I bumped someone next to me, but I literally didn't know most of race where anyone else's car was at any given time. Better luck this week.

Brownie...I wonder what that X is?...The last time I raced I had the same thing..Not only the X but the rear view mirror seemed to be blacked out causing oneself to be blind as for people coming up on you or trying to pass. You just could not see them causing issues all night.WHATTTTTTTF???
The x or blacked out rear view mirror is a game glitch. Happened to me allot of times before. Driver should be able to call a restart when that happends in an organized race like this. You can tell if its glitched during the count down before the race starts.

Shoot Em'...Thanks for the information. I will attest that this glitch makes for one excruciating experience!!..
That works for me. I felt like a moving speed bump and I know I blocked a couple of attempted passes when I moved over and bumped someone with their nose up the inside of a turn.
So even though I can't race this series anymore because of work commitments I thought I would go do some laps with Kraiggers Silverstone tune just for the fun of it. For those of you who don't have it yet, I highly recommend picking this tune up. The term "on rails" doesn't even do this one justice. I was running consistant 1:35.350 and lower with a fast lap of 1:35 flat (6 lap test) in amatuer trim. Love the track, Love the car. I wish I was able to race with you guys, have fun!!
I'd like to get in on tonight's race if possible. Car 174 with whichever paint u choose. I'm not picky in the least. I should mention while I have run with guys here before this will be my first official race.

Tough track to make a pass without making contact and messing up those nice paint jobs
I had fun, good racing, see you all next week

I agree! If that does happen we should just restart the race as the race has not started and it would not affect anything.
