Good point Darth. I just keep thinking Team Throwdown for 4's, so that is probably why I did not think of it you way. But agree, just have fun, keep shooting and map awareness will help her out the most.
This was one of the 4v4's from that night. I don't know if changing the amount of people are going to help with that do you guys disagree? So I figure if she is playing 8v8 then there's 7 other people to draw attention away from her while she works on her aim. So her #1 focus is to stay alive, I tell her if she starts taking damage run/hide. Then when she can put shots into someone, focus on her aim better. Now I'll see her take her time to line up the shot before shooting which isn't ideal, but at least she's not just shooting at the air like she did in this video... But I know you guys have more experience and skill so if you guys think I should do something else even after watching the video then I'll do it! :)

From what I saw in the first interactions, the person needs to anticipate people around corners and stop sprinting as the numero uno change so that they can get first shots. Getting the first shot often means you win the battle.
As far as aiming concerns: Octagon, Octagon, Octagon. This is THE way that I learned how to effectively aim and strafe. It really does help. If the person playing against them is really good, have them try to miss every other shot-it really helps the person and gets their reticule to bounce out of scope while getting them used to aiming with the strafe more than the aim stick.

Don't push her. Just be happy she will play with you. She has to build on her own desire to play.

I almost forgot: get her a pair of pom poms.
At least you spelled the second pom correctly this time.

Octagon might help but right now I would say, from watching the video, enemy awareness is her biggest challenge. Yes, her aim is random, but her enemy awareness is not good. There were a number of times enemies were right around her that she didn't see or she just seemed lost trying to find the baddies.
Perhaps she should try using Promethean Vision. This will help her identify enemy locations much easier and encourage her to move around more instead of waiting around out in the open.
Also, encourage her to use grenades, I think she only threw one or two grenades. Using nades to strip shields will help tremendously.
Finally, you might consider adjusting her controller to a lower sensitivity. This could help improve her aim.
Promethean Vision might also confuse her. Too much information, after all. She needs to work on basic awareness. She seems to have some pretty strong tunnel vision.
1. (and most important) The reticule should START at head height (or chest at the minimum). She is starting with her reticule looking at the ground. Not what you should want.
2. Use the vehicles. When I started with Halo 2 I literally drove the ghost EVERY time I saw it. I still do this a ton, but it is a GREAT learning tool for enemy awareness, shield popping, listening and communicating to teammates. She ran by the ghost like it was a decoration when it is (in fact) a deadly tool that can really equalize the playing field.
3. Use the A/R. It is a BRUTAL weapon in this game. If she learns to pulse the thing and aim right....improvements will happen. The BR and DMR should be used only when the AR becomes more effective. Even then, I would use the loadout to have both weapons or just pick up the BR/DMR from other people.
4. Promethean Vision or Invis (like she is using now) are best I would say.
5. Playing slow is just fine. Protection of your life is the most important thing (and the biggest issue for some advanced players too).
6. Octagon = no way. Boring and frustrating. Maybe if she is still playing in 6 months. For now, just put the right weapon(s) in her hands and watch the magic happen.

Id say rather than octagon, play campaign or spartan ops on normal. This way she can have moving targets to shoot at that wont put up a huge challenge but still provide good practice.
I can't imagine that an awful game like Project Gotham would have the following to make a sequel plausible or profitable. I'm a shooter guy myself, and would like to take the time to deliver a wild boast: my skills are vastly superior to yours and should we ever find ourselves engaged in a contest for gaming supremacy, I would be victorious. Now enjoy this wild speculation regarding your heritage: your dad likes Jazzercise and your mother serves in the military, clad in the appropriate footwear for that profession.
Not unless I'm missing something which is very possible. It appears to be the guy who created the infographic, he's asking for assistance getting it seen by 343 and there is brief discussion. My apologies if this ends up not relating at all...

He wants official support from 343i for people to check out his site. Well okay, if they do, perhaps I could make the same request for my own little special project of a similar nature. Perhaps Dixon could do one too. I think you can guess the positive results of my survey will stomp Dixon's rain train into the ground. The point is, why should 343i get directly involved in projects like that when they already have a place to air concerns and they have the sales, population and skill data they need to choose which changes to make in Halo. The guy should consider himself lucky that 343i took the time to download the data.

Yeah, bsangel already commented on it, but it doesn't appear that 343 is too interested about to Gamersuggestion.com to see what the community thinks. After all, they've got their own fora and what not for feedback.
Play doubles. Get her used to team shooting and working with each other.

Her biggest problem is aim at the moment. If you look at my blog, it's the video I posted on ... here I'll just make it easy:

Yeah, even I learn.
She already has a pair but... nevermind.
Looks my gameplay footage.
Nothing wrong there- keep up the good work!

Is there an octagon for Halo 4? Let's set up a night you guys can work with her. I'd love to see how she responds...
Edit: Good stuff Darth, we'll try em and report back
I have a variant in my file share, it's called "arena" if it's not in there message me, and I will put it back.

There's more than one Halo?
There's more than one Project Gotham Racing?

I..I liked PGR.
That's why you're the False Prophet, Hop.
I..I liked RPG.
What appears to be an update or story expansion?
