We have changed games and are now using rFactor

Important info:
UserData/UserName/PLR file find the following lines under Sound options and change to the following

theres 1 extra track included just drag and drop into your locations file thruxton

Addons iam aware work the mod are fanaleds, xd and map track plug in not sure about the rest
We will run a bi weekly race point system with your 2 worst races dropped over the season.
drop after the 4th race the 2nd at the end of the season
Rules:
Bumping and rubbing is encouraged but please be respectfull :) pitting or purpossly ramming/punting will be warned continous offences you will be removed from the series.
Shit happens if you take someone out be curtious and let that person retake the position

I downloaded the mod but did not install yet. I have to double check that I have stcc. I know I have stcc 2. If I don't have stcc I will download it this week.
I think if theres enough interest still it would be wise to start the first sat in april, any longer and i dont think there will be any interest left in this game? My self ive been running the next gen games more and getting more involved with the multi player races seems theres a bunch of leagues firing up with daily/weekly races......if we can get a min of 5 guys running will continue with the series if not iam pulling the plug, seems pointless running with less.
Well there will be me, Never, Church, you, and there are a couple of folk like Snappy and Mac who may well join in. So don't run away to your new friends in pCars just yet
As for the new sims, I like the idea of running exhibition races on the odd week. until the time comes to move over completely. We also have to bide our time until we all have the sims, pCars is still in pre Alfa, AC is a long way off realistically and rF2 does need content. So there is no hurry. There is life in the old sims yet.
agreed we just need people that are still interested in them :)
i think snappy is just has gtr 2 and rf1 that i know of, theres a few guys from gbr that show up randomly........if only we could get everyone that partaked in a race or 2 from season 1 to show up regulary we would have a 10+ grid :)
It's that timezone thing, weekends are a tough ask for family folk, and running during the day for the yanks is going to mean they can only drop in when they can...

will you guys accept someone who sucks at racing games but is looking to get into them in this season? I need seat time :) I have a G27 so I'm using legit hardware - I just suck at racing games and want to make sure I don't ruin it for anyone with my stupid face :)

sweet :) I'm still setting this all up. I have Race 07/STCC/STCC2/Graphics Mods/ installed - I'm gettting the mods/tracks mentioned in this thread now. Hopefully I can make it tomorrow - but I can't be sure (my brother is stopping by to annoy me tomorrow at some point lol) but I will try for sure!
Wayhey, finally. I am so totally up for this. BlowMonkey what GFX mods you got installed? Also are these races on the same weekend as the actual BTCC as if so I'll probably miss Knockhill weekend due to being there :D

I have literally no idea - it was a whirlwind of mod installing to try and make sure I had everything ready lol I think I have all the mods Kurupt lists in the mods section and other places as well - I think I have it all. I'm down for some running laps etc. whenever that is going on. I've been working on iRacing Ovals lately - really love the setup of iRacing but man it's a little hard lol but still I need all the practice I can get so I've been ghosting and running practice laps.

we will be using the 2011 cars only theres some issues with the other yrs....server will be up thurs nite till sat. Dont worry about gfx mods there no installed in the server and the other mods are just in there if guys wanna test and run laps in something different.
As for the sched. it wont be ran on the same days as the rl races iam thinking bi weekly starting aprox. the first sat in april.
Iam currently testing a scirroco cup that iam considering running on the off weeks using the same BTCC tracks and theres no tuning envolved just jump in and run!

And I'm in the euro zone so about to hit the sack...Drives me up the wall that nearly all the folk I race with are either American or Canadian, all the cool stuff happens while I sleep
I'm in Europe too (Scotland) just late night last night due to abscessed tooth lol :( I'm really wanting to get into more races, any suggestions?
I am a weekend racer but due to my shift Ian on during the day when most the euro guys are on...I also just signed up at simracingpro.com they run mostly race 07 , game stock car, and rf1 & 2 a bit.....there's also race2play both clubs are basically the same group of aliens. I've ran in both because the euro times work for me before I hit the sack...got my ass handed too me at first but after I started getting comfortable I was finding myself in the top half. You can pick up a lot of good driving tips from those guys. I can probably fit in 2 weekday races at race2play if your interested, we might get knight too if we can pull him away from rf2 for 30 min. Another option of u have rf1 and are a late night owl is gone broke racing. Of we could get a few more euro guys I would have no problem setting up a wed race game in what ever sim

You may not have noticed due to your hectic week Kurupt, but ISI have updated the Clio, new shaders, tires tweaked and sound sorted. To be honest I am not sure even your bandwidth will be up to too many users hitting it, rF2 is very heavy on bandwidth. But when your up to it, we'll give it a shot.

Just scroll down and you'll see the car avaliable as a stand alone download, also a updated Malasia. as the old clio will still be installed as part of a older mod you have to view the cars in game in list mode and pick the 141 version to drive.
A few updates to season 2
mod Livingsimracing btcc 2007-2011 using the 2011 cars
Races will be 2 x laped races length will represent the real life track distance
weather will be based on the 2012 real life race conditions
I'd also like to to move the season start date up 1 week so we will be starting the last sat of April
