Okay, I'm fairly literate in car speak, but what the hell are you talking about? Bear in mind I never worked on a Corrado...Scirocco once, original year...only once because I wasn't the one that bought it! License plate tub?
Panel between the tail lights that hold the license plate. This one actually has a recessed "tub" that the license plate sits in, leaving the plate sitting flush with the panel, instead of sitting 1/4" above the panel like the stock one. The carbon one was only $10 more than fiberglass, so I said "eff it". It will likely end up getting painted semi-gloss black down the road, but figured I'd see how it looked bare first.
Yawn...Morning world. Shite day today as I have a meeting with the company that I have to deal with to earn a crust, have a bad feeling that they are going to cut money, reduce days worked and generally make Knight's life complicated.
I won't be spending $500.00 for anything that says X-Box on it. It would truly have to be phenomenal, and from what I've read, it isn't. This will push people back to the PC, it's pushing me.
Combine that with the family pack gone, and it's even easier...

I don't think it will push people back to the PC as they are on the decline, and if starting from scratch your not going to get much of a PC with 500 dolla. (Monitor, Case ect)
What it will do though is push people to these little Android boxes / Tablets which are good for most things but real bad for the thing I like to do the most.
Race.
There is not one decent multiplayer racing game out there for any tablet. I know theres Real Racing 3 and I do enjoy playing that but there is no live Multiplayer and TBH its the best racing game out for the tablets ect.
I don't know maybe the full racing simulator's are pretty much falling out of the wider scope of the public. True we have rfactor 2 and other on the way but this massive development time (and paying for BETA's) + the ammount of choice out there seems to be ripping the whole mature sim community apart.
Yeah, it's not going to be on my list of must haves right at release. That's a fair bit of parts for the projects right there. Maybe a year or so down the road...maybe. The Xbox only gets fired up about once a week as is..... I've actually been using the PS3 more, due largely to the better interface and control options for Netflix...and the fact it's also my BlueRay player.
Most of my gaming has actually already moved over to PC - rFactor, Race07, GuildWars2, Torchlight 2, BF3 (when it works), War Thunder.
3 racing games you have to pay the privilege of paying for the BETA as they are not ready yet or the others that are 7 + years old.
Like I said may be its just me, but I really don't like where the industry as a whole is going. Its getting to the point of "If you don't like it tuff, theres nothing else out there" . Yet.

Damn I'm in a good mood.
There's a whole world out there that doesn't require a race track Church. Games of all kinds, and if there isn't a decent racing game, I'll play something else...
Knight's right though. PC's are quite open to mods, updates, improvements, and 99% of them are freely done. And even if they aren't, they ARE cheaper than the console DLC bullshit...
Your just a miserable git today. PC racing and gaming is alive and well and growing. Thanks to the fact there is nothing on console that comes close to a full blown racing sim and the vastly reduced cost of the games. The Forza experience is not what it was, and where have been the new tracks? hundreds of cars you may drive once but the tracks you drive all the time. My connection is better than it was when I first started, yet look at what happened the other night.
The new Xbox is a huge Meh, the specs leaked are average, the spy in the living room is very off putting, I will not have a machine that insists on having a camera on all the time, that is a given. It also is no longer a games console and is a marketing and advertising devise. If they block second hand games into the bargain? We'll see but if all those things remain true I'll pass thank you very much.
Steam box is interesting but they are going have to price it keenly to dent the hold the big three console makers have.
As for some of the Sims being seven years old, well that skirts the fact they have been updated and added to constantly over those seven years, freely and at no extra cost to the user, rF2 will be the same, in seven years time you will (if you ever get it) still be using it, with all the updates, new mods, cars, tracks and not paid a penny more for the pleasure.
In other news guess who is the GBR Enduracers P2 Series one Champion?
In other, other news...Yesterdays meeting was put back at the last minuit to sometime next week...Arseholes!
Carbon Fiber!
Got word my new plate tub for the Corrado is shipping today. Going to replace the busted stock plastic piece.

They're just going to name it "XBox", wasn't there already one of those?
All I need is a MB/Chipset, P/S and Ram. Might spring for a SSHD if I'm plush...new vid card down the road, One I have will do at the get go.
Then play what?
