Great racing gents. Kept the mistakes to a minimum and had consistent pace. Oh and the fact Church made a few errors. I had a very close call 30 minutes in.
Podium for a privateer, in a world now seemingly dominated by teams.
@Grim: Sorry man for being kicked out! Nice livery.
@Room A: Sorry for my bad english, bad german, short attempt to host and sorry for my SLOW driving. To be laped by nearly everybody is not something of honour, but damned lack of raciong skills. Has anybody written up our driven miles?
@poisdly: good looking car and very good german! Thanks for trying to supervise me!
@church: hey teammate, you did a good job in the race and thank you for the idea. Feel sorry for us as team, because your car didn't wear the JDRT livery.
Don't know if I will do something like that again. My neck and back are hurting. And: aaarghhh, I hate it to be laped. One thing I found difficult: I couldn't see my laptimes.
I go to bed now and try to forget my bad performance.
Jdan don't be so hard on yourself to finish the race with these cars with full sim damage on is quite an achievement.
indeed!...congrats to king cobra, 1st in rm A,..and driveby..1st rmB. my personal goal was to finish the race without any damage and not cause others any damage. happy to say i did both. finished 5th in room B,ran consistent smooth laps start to finish and that was really hard! staying focused for 90 minutes is an accomplishment in itself, imo. so yes congrats to all who finished this race, well done!
Dont feel bad Jdan... Yoy were not the only one to be lapped. Lil damage and i was down 30mph. I did like the full sim mode through, really had to think! If someone got close i just gave them plenty of room to go by.
Cheers JD. you have spent a lot of time in the seats etc. Its a very different type of racing this, and let's face it, there were two of the very quickest in the room. No shame in that.
I finished the race even after 3 freaking pit stops. "drive time , drive time" will only make you better ! Now in the real track those turles are not there , that would simple destroy a car . True or untrue ?
Truly, if you're going to run that track, you have to set up your car to survive those things incase something simply goes wonky and you find yourself in the middle of them.
I have crossed/straddled them a few times with little to no issues, but I've been lucky to be in the right cars to do it.

@fitzy: thank you for hosting. You were the last car I say in this race for a long time! Why are you so fast?

Were you running with aero?
As fitzy said just finishing in these cars is an achivement in its own right.
1.5hrs @ LeMans, Full Sim, V8 SuperCar FTW!!
Is there any kind of prize for the winning team, pole finishers, or people that just plain finished the race?
No prizes. Racing with your 2O4F brethren is reward enough.
Damn. I guess your right Parcells......
Don't encourage him...

I think so Ink

No wonder I went air born a few times . "Damn those ninja turtles!"

I got lucky at the end of the race, where I clipped the inside turtles, and was barely able to go wide on the outside and miss the other two sets.
When will this series start? What day of the week will the races be on? I hope it's on the weekend.
It was just a one off Snappy.
So, no V8SC series then? Okay
Actually, I'm thinking of running a V8 Supercar Series to be run on Saturday's. I'm working out the details before I really post anything.
Cool, if it's after 8:30 pm Eastern I am in.
