Gim you have done an epic job!!!
Race day at the ring!
A few things to add. The race is worth double points and the fastest Lap time done by someone out of the top 3 gets 10 points.
fastest Lap time done by someone out of the top 3 gets 10 points.
Does that fastest lap time have to be CLEAN?
IMO CLEAN laptme should get the first nod as it is an achievement in itself. If all top 3 have ! laps (if racing very close) then there would be no choice but to use ! times . . .
WHAT? You mean to say I've got the wrong impression that every series is this intense and fun?
It was an excellent race but the incidents on track were quite dramatic, to say the least. Anything that can be done to promote contact-free race would be greatly appreciated by many, I would think. This series was another revelation for me in terms of tuning science/art and getting to finally learn to race using manual clutch. Thank you for your tips/help with the transition.
For those who are about to race 6 laps of NBRing, I salute you, and may the 1st be with you.
I would like to recognize and congratulate Team DBBQ Racing for moving up to 2nd place in team championship in its inaugural race series at 2Q4F. On and off the track there were incidents and frustrations but the team pulled through lap after lap, race after race. We will stand on the podium as a whole, not as individuals. May, at least few of us, start on the 1st row!
SuperNovaDave, you should probably join Room A as the room frequently has open slots. I'll be sure to send you invite if you have trouble getting in or send you message if the room is full.
IMO it would have to include dirty laps aswell. You could have someone within drafting distance and dirty your lap at no fault of your own. Not my call however I would like to know prior to the green flag.
well the fact is that a clean lap of the ring is always quicker, when you get off track it costs you big time. but hopefully the racing will be close enough that there is no clean laps. so clean or dirty dont matter
and im removing myself from the lap time points as well.
thats why its 10, and outside the top 3, im hopefull its not one of the faster guys who get it. also the reason i took myself out of it, in case i finish 4th or worse, i know im quick round the ring
My reason against it is that 4th and 5th will get more points than
1st which I don't think is right. With 5 points 4th place would be in between 1st and 2nd if they got the fastest lap out of the top 3.
I am already missing this series! It was superb organized (thanks to all), real racing with true emotions, much to learn and it was all in all pure fun!!!
Based on the fast lap rules above, derekthetree had the quickest

Gizzy - Great event! Had a blast with the series and thanks for all the support in the B room. It was rough the first week but once we got past that, it was smooth sailing from there. I look forward to the next series!
Thanks to all, had a great time each Sunday . There must have been a lag issue today, I was hit from behind twice going down the straightaway at the start of the race, eventually ended up in the wall.
Everyone having great lap times, I was unable to catch the pack. Cant wait to start the new Sunday event next week.
Fantastic series and fun racing.... But now I take the summer off and come back in the fall, now I go fishing, swimming and being out in the sun and heat, it is not something we are accustomed to here in Sweden. Se you all after the summer, looking forward to racing Forza5 on the new XBox One next season.
“Some years ago I had the wish to visit a Anthony Robbins seminar, but simply it was too expensive.”, said JDANKERT in a small press conference. “Today, after a long and successful racing series, the first ever series in which JDRT raced as team, after having the final SLSC race at “The Ring” I gift my drivers a trip to the Fiji’s, where Tony Robbins stages his “Life & Wealth Mastery seminar”. That is my Thank you, guys!”
Church, Mapo, Knight, Antz and Stevie will join the seminar, which started Saturday, and will get individual coaching lessons with one of the most impressive motivational speakers and trainers in this world. The cost are very high, but as Anthony Robbins says:
“It's like adding more hours to your day; you'll return from Fiji focused and invigorated, recommitted to your productivity, health, relationships and prosperity. When you think about it, a few focused days of empowerment cost much less than years and years of piecemeal attempts at progress.”
JDANKERT: “Have fun guys and be sure, that I am proud of you! Thanks for the SLSC experience.”
Tried to get in, for some reason my system has decided to sabatoge my racing. First it was NAT problems then it as Network problems and could'nt connect. This went on all afternoon.
@Grim: Thanks for your support and your hosting!

JDRT press release
