Had lots of fun last night but what a feakin marathon night of racing this series is! I think I really may be 2old2play cause by the end of the 2nd Indy Oval I was wiped and couldn't face that last race at Sebring. Thanks for hosting Grim and I look forward to building up my endurance!
Sounds good Grim. If you need any help or advice feel free to ask. It looks like you've got it pretty well covered, but feel free. It's not always fun running a series, trust me. Lots of stress and numbers numbers numbers.
So help me out here. I need to buy three of these cars. I can download the build off of your storefront. Not real sure about the color chart you posted.
You need just 1 car and save the 3 builds. In the lobby you can then swap between the 3 builds
I do like Nascar style racing but Mondays are tough. Have to think about this. Where would I sign up if I can make it?
Silver Thanks!
I put together a promo vid for the series which you can watch on our twitch channel. The quality is better on youtube tho.

F-ing awesome. Perfect song for it too! Many thanks brnt!
I hope you're not encouraging rear ending!
Just a little bump drafting. hehe
That's a very cool promo vid!
Sure is a cool video. Who is in that fantastic looking purple one? Wow that car looks good from every angle. I bet he's a great driver too.........
Oh and this comes to mind when racing these cars

Black n Gold, all official vinyls, nothing moved, I'll have the car up at the track for the pre race inspection.
Although very cool looking, it needs to be white and gold
Cool, your race, your car, find you a driver for it.

Transcript from today’s Press Conference
Welcome to media day here at Sunset Speedway as we get ready for the opening weekend of the 2013 IROC Series.
The goal of the IROC Series is to find the best all-around driver on a large variety of tracks numbering nearly 40 different configurations throughout the course of the season. “The series will test the drivers skill as we compete on iconic ovals such as Indy and legendary road courses such as Sebring, Silverstone and Laguna Seca to name a few” stated GrimGrnninGhost. “The schedule will also test the drivers stamina as we race on 8 different tracks each week. Although the races are short, the intensity will remain high as drivers compete for every position”
The car we are using for this year’s event is the 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. This Iconic car from the 1990's was the production version of the car used on the IROC Series in 1990. “We looked for a car that would offer a good balance on the ovals and road courses while still putting the driver’s talent to the test to find the Overall champion” stated GrimGrnninGhost. “We are happy to have received such positive reviews from the early test sessions and the IROC crew has been hard at work taking the feedback from the drivers and applying that to the cars. We couldn’t be happier with the final product and we look forward to some close and exiting racing."
This year we are happy to announce that we have teamed up with Snap-on as the series title sponsor. Snap-on is a leading US designer, manufacturer and marketer of high-end tools and equipment to professional tool users. It was founded in 1920. Snap-on is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and employs approximately 11,500 people worldwide. “We are thrilled to be a part of the IROC series and we looking forward to an exciting series” stated Nicholas T. Pinchuk, CEO of Snap-on.
We are joined here today with some of the top drivers participating in the series. From my left Gunny, MaxPerforma, Driveby, brntguy, tonyssr, Celitti and Nundew00b. We would like to offer the media in attendance the opportunity to ask the drivers some questions.
Allen Bestwick - ESPN Sports – Of all the tracks on the schedule, which track(s) are you looking forward to and why? “I'm looking forward to the oval tracks where I think that teamwork will come to play far more than individual ability. Though I really look forward to the race at Infineon, a personal favorite track of mine where I like to test out most of the cars that I have driven” stated Nunderw00b. When asked to Driveby “I'm pretty much looking forward to all of the road courses. Ovals confuse me. Constantly turning left is a strange new adventure for me, so you'll find me smokin' the BBQ in some Daisy Dukes with my NASCAR blades and Dick Trickle muscle shirt, listening to Ted Nugent in the pits before the oval races in order to prepare for upcoming left handers.”
Dave Despain – Speed Channel - What is it about this series that you find interesting? “This will be the first series where the same car with 3 different builds will be used, sometimes all in the same night” Stated CelittiDad
Marty Snyder – NASCAR.com - Who do you think has the best chance to win the championship? “Not sure on champions status, but I feel some folks that have not seen the podium are going to shake things up since cars are so similar and the tracks are not small and tight” stated Gunny. “Its hard to say at this point. There are a lot of fast drivers in this event but its not all about speed, with the mix of ovals and road courses its anyones championship” stated MaxPerforma. “Well I think the people who run most consistent and who are able to make it to each race night. I expect driveby to do well on the road courses and expect Prebuilt to do well on the ovals. But having no cautions can throw a wrench in anyone’s season at any time” stated brntguy
David Hobbs – NBC Sports – Max, being the only Brit in the field, does that give you an advantage or disadvantage in the series? “The only advantage I will have is you can spot my car easier from the air as its the only one with the union jack on” answered Max Performa.
Mike Joy – Speed Network - What do you think about the 1990 IROC Z that you will be driving this year? “The car is great! The A class version is super solid. The S class car is also very nice, although sometimes it wants to kill me, but I love cars like that. The R3 version is a death wish. It's a downright suicidal machine hell bent on destroying all humans on earth, but it goes pretty fast” stated Driveby. “The car is a classic IROC car and does justice to the series and I think the floormats are nice!” answered brntguy. “I think the cars are excellent, really good at the ovals and excellent at the road courses” stated Tonyssr. “The car is amazing, and a lot more nimble than you would think” stated Nunderw00b. “I like the IROC a lot. The 3 builds make it 3 distinct cars” answered CelittiDad.
And with that I’d like to thank the drivers, media and Nicholas for attending todays media event. We look forward to an exciting series and some great competition. The series starts this Monday 5/27 @ 9:00pm est. Be sure to check in frequently for weekly results and reviews.
