In other news my F1 rim for my Fanatec Elite wheel arrived yesterday, very nice. Loads of mapable buttons that are driving me mad trying to remember what I have mapped where.
For any racers looking for a wheel to use on PC this is going to be a good second hand buy (the wheel that is) It is very unlikely that it will work on the new Box and those die hard Forza drivers are going to be unloading them to finance another wheel to use on Forza 5. It is a great PC wheel, and with the F1 rim just about identical to the CSW minus the LED strip. As GBR's resident hardware modder and tech guru have just been given one to play with there is going to some interesting mods coming for it too.
Has the new rim made me faster? in short...No, but the smaller profile has enabled me to reintegrate my Tab into the rig, as I hate to clutter my screens with telemetry data and anything else that should not be in my view I am a happy puppy.
Cheers mate, but mark my words, you will be putting your wheel up for sale or switching to PC or PS after the 360 forza lobbies empty. Thrustmaster are going to be producing the wheel for the next box and you can bet your wheel they wont want any competition from Fanatec. Thomas has confirmed incompatibility via his blog with his usual "We'll do all we can" So no NDA, no Microsoft support...Don't look good does it?
