I grew up on 5 acres outside of a small town in the middle of Florida and hated it....now I find myself looking up property 20-30 minutes outside of the city with a minimum of 5 acres lol
Thats hubby's ideal: living in the country so he can work on his street rod as late as he wants, and enough property to have our own shooting range like his buddy has lol. I have to admit, it'd be nice to be able to just walk outside and shoot...as opposed to it being a planned excursion with waits for a lane to clear, some dumbass(arse) next to me pointing his gun my way when it misfires, etc.
Yes, we have plenty of room for that and a place set up. My buddies use it to site in their rifles and such. Nice to not see any neighbors and rarely hear any. Don't get me started on how clear the night sky is...and then there's the really nice roads for riding the motor bikes everywhere. Oh and the people are ALL nicer up this way.
