Im gonna be gone Saturday too. Going to visit my family on the east coast. There will be .... babies. Human babies. TEETHING human babies. I'm not baby people. Not that there's anything wrong with procreating, it's just not my thing. I love my nieces, but having them both around st the same time may be a bit much. Especially since our parents go into know it all mode AND spoil the babies mode at the same time....which means my brothers get mad and yell...ah. Family. ANDDDD my dad informed me we are takin this show on the road: late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant. GREAT. My step mom HATES going out to eat. So she will sit, pout, drink water and eat a bowl of plain lettuce....then yell at dad when he leaves a tip because she never thinks the service is good. Oh joy of joys.
So what you're saying is it's going to be lots of fun, in that case enjoy.
lol thanks! It'll be a little fun, because hubby and I have inside jokes and in situations like this, we will be having private little moments of "holy shit! Did that just happen?"
And these little excursions make us appreciate the silence of our home lol.
But mostly it will be migraine inducing horror lmao!

2000 Dakota 4wd extended, solid black, nothing spectacular but honestly the best truck I've ever owned, easily...I'm considering a repaint and keeping it indefinately. Maybe midnight blue?

In other news.....I'm still waiting for my G*& D@$ M*&^%$#f*&#$%^ headlights that I ordered 3 months ago to show up. Going to try calling again tomorrow....thus far phone messages & emails haven't gotten me any information about when they will be showing up.

Mopars rule! All i have is an Avenger but it's my baby lol the 40 ... hubby did it all himself...paint, etc : P.S. it was his grandfather's car, then his father's. It's got more sentimental value than i can express in words.

We have a local club here that runs a car show in town every Saturday night from April through October, and there are many many beautiful toys everywhere. Walk down town on the sidewalks, and they block off main street and its cars both sides all the way up n down, really a blast.

Hubby has a 1940 Chevy, so I can kind of feel your pain. Getting parts for that thing is like trying to buy a pet dinosaur.
