Can I possibly have a host for room a I seem to be having Xbox live problems can't stay signed in for more than 5 mins since Friday not sure if its my Internet or live its self
i still plan on racing just think it would be better to have a stable host
Logging on now...see if you can get me into your room (so I dont have to set up the groups - dont know how) and then dropout until I or someone else becomes host maybe. in any case see you in two minutes
Congratulations to my MPR teammate Shrimp for taking the win. Did what i could to tactically get in the way of the pack by delaying my pitstop till i led race, dutifully handing over to him....sounds a bit F1 eh lol
I really enjoyed racing yesterday minus the loss of aero on lap 6.I really think I had something for the midpack guys. Oh well. Turning good practice laps for next week.
TDR, Team DBBQ Racing, had a good weekend with 2nd(A), 3rd(B), 4th(A), & 5th(A). Started very last position which was a bummer but the racing was relatively clean in Room A.
For Maple Valley, if you enter the pits at full racing speed the car cannot be slowed quickly enough and the car will go straight through the pits WITHOUT stopping.
I would think the requirement is to actually execute the tire change therefore the car MUST BE SLOWED DOWN before entering the pits.
Requesting clarification on the pitting from Race Control.
I pitted on lap 20 for the Suzuka race and the tires were deep yellow but I was comfortable with it with no degradation of lap times. Maple Valley lap times will be minimum 20% faster than Suzuka therefore I assume many people will be able to endure 30 laps on a single set of tires with relative ease.
True. 30 laps there will make for a very short race (44 second laps will put it at about 25 min race) Perhaps 40 or even 45 laps would force the pitting issue
Thats if you can catch me dude........................well Plato well and trully let me down at the weekend, glad I didnt bother going to Croft( live about 35 mins away)

Although I don't know what he was thinking. I was sat on the infield for that race and it was only spitting at best. 2 Laps in and he was gone. Was fun watching the BMWs though :)

I wonder what condition the tires will be in if you dont change them and if the car will be sliding all over towards the end of 30 laps

its almost like having a pit road speeding penalty if you go too fast and miss the tire change. You have to go back and try again
I like.

Just wondering if there are any plans for alternate times now that Top Gear is back on on Sundays in the UK?
I could I-player it but so much easier and better looking in HD

I love racing then watching new Top Gear right after :)
No worries then! I've not done HD iPlayer yet, I'll give it a go.
