Im hoping we can get a few more Silver Cup drivers like Juan, Tony, and some of the new guys to get in and race. These are great cars to race and easy to drive. I really want to have 6-7 racers to run for the Silver cup championship.

That's Parcells plan too as in I'm much more looking forward to the silver cup races vs the gold cup races even though both will be awesome and I'm pretty sure I'll be grouped in with the gold class competitors.
Don't change your plan Grimm because of this comment. I think its great the gold competitors are excluded from the silver series. Surely this will prevent the faster guys from taking unecessary and aggressive pass maneuvers against the silver competitors or at least lets hope it does.
Silver Cup races with everyone driving the Lotus Elise
Each race will start with a rolling start on the first lap to get into position. Silver cup drivers will lead the field grouped by handicap buckets (0%, 5%, 10% & 15%) followed by the Gold cup drivers 800-1000 feet back with a minimum 10% Handicap) with everyone driving the Elise. As the silver cup drivers complete the final turn, the race coordinator will call out "3-2-1-GO" for the silver cup drivers only and then again for the Gold cup drivers when they get to the final turn. This should keep the gold cup drivers out of the mix of silver cup drivers for a few laps to allow for spacing and the battle for poistions to shake out. All cautions will start in similar fashion for the first three laps only. Cautions can only be called where silver cup drivers are involved.
Gold Cup races with everyone driving the Lotus Evora
Each race will start with a rolling start on the first lap to get into position. Gold cup drivers will lead the field grouped by handicap buckets (0%, 5%, 10% & 15%) followed by the Silver cup drivers 800-1000 feet back with a minimum 5% Handicap) with everyone driving the Evora. Parcells and Snappy - You will be able to run in both races based on the format above but I'm surprised you want to run for the silver cup championship as both of you have either won or were in the running for the series championships. Also you guys are both pretty quick so if you end up running for the Silver cup championship, I may start you @ 10% Handicap right from the start. If its because you want to drive the Elise while being a gold cup driver, you can, you just start back of the field and work your way up eventually.
Lets see how the signups shake out and I'll go from there.
Grim......I like Snappy and Parcels think is that there were two seperate races at two different times for each car..with a small break in between..If that is not the case then I dont know what car to race
Lets see if this helps - there are two races each night - First race is in the Elise - Second race is in the Evora - Everyone can run in both cars/both races, its just which race you will earn points in - Ideally, the slower guys will run for the Silver cup championship and will earn points in the first race when we all run the Elise - Ideally, the faster guys will run for the gold cup championship and will earn points in the second race when we all run the Evora
In other words, during the first race, we ALL run in the Elise its just that the guys running for the Gold Cup Championship will start at the back of the field 800-1000 feet back from the Silver cup guys and gold cup guys will not earn points during that race. During the second race, we ALL run in the Evora's its just that the guys running for the silver Cup Championship will start at the back of the field 800-1000 feet back from the gold cup guys and silver cup guys will not earn points during that race.
ha ha, the rules are perfectly clear and you should stick to the slower guys running silver and fast running gold else there's little point in making two groups.
I only prefer racing the Elise because its a slower car nothing more nothing less. I'm perfectly happy competing in the gold series cause all I care about is some good solid racing. I dont think Parcells has ever won an official 2O4F series but that doesn't concern him.
Once again im in amazement cause Parcells it right anr I agree with him.

Grim, thanks for build/tunes if u need Silver Cup drivers i'll try and make
saturday night/sunday morning(1am).
Probably only be able to do first race due to heavy work load(weekends),
Hope that doesnt affect the rules.
Number board???
Paints????...........Anyone!! PLEASE........;-)
The first race each saturday is going to be in the Elise so I hop you can make the race amber. As for the number board, I'll work on it today and get it on my SF
I cant seem to come with any decent number board that capture the concept the series is about. Nothing I come up with is decent IMHO. Anyone willing to give it a try and send it to me?
How about my generic DEKRA plate? Sub LOTUS for DEKRA and I usually put drivers name in bottom spot. I can redo one after work. Colors are easliy changed as well.
Just added front tire width?
Yes
Im up for Sat night races....I should be able to make most of them.....
I had not planned on doing one earlier. Will have my hands full just hosting this one. Sorry

Any interest in a practise session this evening?
