So the dr visit went worse than I thought. He now has his own infusion center, and was pressuring me to go there for chemo instead of the place I've been going for years now. I won't bore you with all the details, but his place sounds crappy (only 5 chairs, only ONE nurse doing ivs, etc). They also have yet to get back to me with the costs. They were supposed to call me in 24 hours with that info. They never called. He was seriously pushing me on this. To the point that he didn't even give me an exam, he just gave me the hard sell. I saw red flags and heard the red alert siren from Star Trek. I'm not going to switch to his infusion center. I'm way too comfortable where I go now, AND the drs place just doesn't seem like a good idea.
Now it's going to be an issue, because he started the process of getting me set up with his place, even as I was saying "I need to know the prices first.." So I'll have to cancel whatever he set up and make sure they didn't cancel my appointment at the other place. Ugh!

All that after you said how much you liked him in a previous post. I'm willing to bet that the new place is personally more profitable for him.
It's not fair. We are facing a potential snow storm of 50cm/20in of snow on Wed. A couple of big events to attend that day too.
For ~10 years, the local lakes were ice free or nearly so on April 1. Not so the last two years. This year, I think the ice is still plenty thick enough for skating and I imagine will still be in for another 3 weeks.
@ Jones the other place is part of his practice. So you're right...huge profits for him. Most places charge about $30,000. for the pair of infusions I get. I get them twice a year.
